Six ladies in the sixty age bracket booked two apartments in Currans Gate. We were met by our host Deirdre, and it could not have been a warmer, more helpful welcome. Deirdre was generous in every way and especially with her time as we were not very familiar with the area. The apartments were perfectly located, just a short taxi ride to the hub of activity, and giving us peace and privacy when we wanted to relax. Accommodation, spotless, spacious, so well equipped with all we could possibly need. Comfortable both inside and out on the veranda. Highly recommended by all six of us.

You never really know what you'll get when you arrive at a distant location. But this place was hands-down our favorite stay while in Ireland!!! It's staffed by charming and attentive hosts (love ya DeeDee) and was spacious, clean and modern. It's conveniently located on the edge of the city center across from a mural of Vincent Van Gogh (JK, it's golfer Shane Lowry I think)—walking distance from a gas station/grocery store, restaurants and cafes, SUPER close to an amazing beach and features onsite parking. Being on the edge of the town allows you to easily day trip to incredible locations like Giant's Causeway (yes, Michelle... we foreigners f'n love Giant's Causeway) or Rathlin Island. Even my kids were sad to leave this home away from home... I can't recommend it enough!

I was on a golf trip with a group of guys from the US. We stayed at the Curran Gate Apartments while golfing at Royal Portrush. Curran Gate is located an 8 to 10 minute walk from the course. Bedrooms were modern with a central kitchen and living area. Set up worked great for our group, three to a suite. The breakfasts were fantastic and made to order. Deirdre was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make our stay delightful.

The property is clean and smart. DD and her staff are the friendly and go beyond what is expected, I'll go back there. The location is good for the town, beach and the golf clubs with great views from some of the balconies. You won't be disappointed.

So happy to have found this gem. We were on a mini tour of the UK with family from Australia- The place is simply amazing- The whole accommodation was immaculate and Deidre the host was something else! She took complete need of our cares - even by bringing me a hot blackcurrant drink when I was unwell- she really was the most attentive host - nothing was too much trouble. The place is situated five mins from the beautiful beach and town - and a great base to see the fabulous sights that the area has to offer Cannot wait to return

Unbelievable views, location to the beach and the world famous North Coast sites was ideal, and my kids loved having the Portrush East Beach on our doorstep. The apartment is so well equipped and a great blend of luxury and comfort. Hostess was attentive and ensured we had the perfect family stay…

Had an excellent experience here this weekend with friends. The apartments could not be better - total luxury. Deidre is an excellent host from her warm welcome on arrival, cheese and meat platters waiting inside our apartment and she drove us to the cocktail bar we went to at the start of our evening out. More towels requested came immediately. Both the bed linen and towels were excellent quality, as was the glassware, crockery and cutlery provided. I greatly appreciated the toastie maker in the morning after a bit too much to drink the night before. Deirdre was also there to bid us goodbye! If you are after a bit of luxury I fully recommend a vist here. I will definitely return but won't be having Expresso Martinis next time. Thanks for your assistance Deidre!!!

What a weekend at Curran Gate! I stayed here before 3 years ago and it was just as good as I remembered. Deirdre is the best host you can imagine - a cheeseboard greeted us on arrival and 2 welcome baskets with milk, cheese, bread etc! The apartments are amazing. There was a group of 10 girls between 2 apartments and it was amazing having so much space. Amenities range from Sky TV to ambient coloured lighting and remote controlled blinds! Deirdre also did 2 runs in her van to take us all to a local hotel for a pre dinner cocktail. I am coming back next month again for a family member’s birthday and already can’t wait. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
