We were warmly welcomed by the owner Lesley on arrival and our room was all ready for us even though we were an hour early. The room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and we had a lovely one nights stay. Only 5 minutes walk to the harbour where most of the bars and restaurants are. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks for our enjoyable stay.

Absolutely fantastic 2 night stay in this lovely bed and breakfast. Room was very clean. Amazing views sitting on the patio. Lesley and Robert were extremely welcoming making sure we were looked after. The breakfast was fabulous and will definitely book again

Blinkbonnie must be one of the cleanest, best run guesthouses in Scotland. A beautiful quiet position above Portpatrick, looking out over a lovely garden to the sea. Great breakfasts and attentive hosts. An excellent base for exploring Galloway and beyond. I can't praise it too highly!

Blinkbonnie is a superb little guest house. Our spotlessly clean room, a well cooked breakfast every morning and friendly and helpful hosts, all have ensured that our week's stay in Portpatrick has been a truly super one. The house itself is in a lovely elevated position which means you get super views down through the village to the harbour. You can enjoy this from Blinkbonnie's front terrace where you can sit in an evening. Portpatrick is a little gem of a village, friendly and welcoming. I hope we can return.

We booked this guest house in order to enjoy the wonders of Portpatrick. Easy to locate and has its own parking too which is a bonus! The room was well laid out, spotless clean too. Breakfast was superb also! Both Robert and Lesley made you welcome and it was ideally located for the harbour and local sites. Certainly worth a visit and we would highly recommend it.

Excellent guest house. I popped in on the off chance we could use the toilet once we arrived even though check wasn't for another couple of hours. Met by Lesley who even though was on the phone and very busy allowed us to check in early as the room was ready. We booked 2 rooms and both were spotlessly clean and smelt lovely. The breakfast was also very nice and the lady who served us very polite and always checking everything was ok and if we needed anything else. We will definitely stay at blinkbonnie again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful scrupulously clean guesthouse, breakfast was lovely as was the service. Rooms spacious and very welcoming as are the owners Lesley and Robert. The view of the harbour and surrounding hills and cliffs is stunning, a perfect place to stay for a week. We will definitely be back again next year

Our first visit to Portpatrick to visit relatives in the area, my partner and I spent a few nights at Blinkbonnie, and it certainly won’t be the last visit to this exceptional accommodation. The owners Lesley and Robert were so warm welcoming and accommodating. We slept well in the comfortable twin room as there wasn’t a vacancy for a double but it was lovely spacious room with ensuite. Our breakfast was hearty and delicious, and what I also call “cleanly” presented (not greasy, just lovely and fresh) In fact everything was spotlessly clean and the views from the front of the house… are simply stunning! We look forward to visiting again Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.
