We dropped off our bags before parking and it is a very steep and narrow road. If you put the address in GPS you will not find it. We recieved directions while driving but did not get in time. The offsite parking

Portovenere is everything it is made out to be. Picture perfect scenery and friendly people. Parking is a challenge…and luggage must be as light as possible to reach some hotels. Stairs are a safety hazard in some locations so be careful…..

Moldy shower, no water or cup in room, no sound insulation, 124 stone broken pitch black steps to door. Absentee negligent owner. Dishonest description. Worst place I’ve stayed and I’ve travelled to italy for decades. And bring your own toilet paper if you dare stay here because they give you one small roll and then leave for the night. Parking is a bus ride away. Anything closer is over $50 day. Not even any sign in the town where the dangerous steps start. This owner is the worst.

Very good place to stay in Portovenere. At walking distance to the centre and to catch the boats to Cinque Terre.

The view from the window is something you cannot describe... Everyone should live it at least once in their life. This is the perfect place for visiting Portovenere. Big and cozy rooms, terraces and garden where you can have a great breakfast, enjoying local pastry and focaccia. The host can also offer car park at good rates (consider to book it, as parking in Portovenere is not so easy). Relais Santa Caterina is just 2 minutes walking from the heart of Portovenere. 5 stars to Martina!!! She will make your holidays perfect, providing good advices for places to visit and where eating local cuisine.

Fantastic hotel with a unique location in beautiful Porto Venere. Unique view with a stunning garden very close to the city centre. Breakfast was served outside in Hagen in lovely surroundings. We will definitely return here.

A truly fantastic experience! 360 view of Porto Venere and its bay with a large terrace for breakfast.
The room has all the comforts and has been recently renovated.
