We stayed in this hotel for weekend with friends. Rooms are very comfortable and clean and the food is so good it's a shame I couldn't try all of it. The staff there were all nice and very helpful. The good thing is that we could do some shoping even on sunday.

The hotel is close to the beach, but it is not easy to find at first, as it is not directly next to the street, but the top building of a hotel complex. Tip: starting from the reception of Hotel Portoroz with a suitcase, you can reach it via several elevators and through a maze of corridors, but later it is easier to go up the hardly noticeable stairs next to Hotel Portoroz. The room was clean and a good size, and we were able to occupy it before the official check-in time. You have to check out at 11, which is also useful. There is a super wellness center in the complex. The sea spa sauna must be booked in advance for an extra fee. It is strange that the use of a bathrobe costs 6 euros.

I wouldn't bother. If possible book somewhere else. It's on a hill... Lots lots lots steps and like a maze to find pool in another hotel. Hard when it's 30C outside. Shower plastic wall nearly hangs out... Breakfast is poor..coffee comes with sugar....orange juice is sugary squash Hot food is cold Pool is indoors mostly and smells.... If u want to go to beach it's extra £20 for 2 beds. Parking is also £12.. overall why would u? Think I would rather stay in Croatia next time

I have only the best words for this hotel and their employees, all of them were extremely friendly, helpful and positive. All services and amenities as well as condition, hygiene and atmosphere are excellent, i will for sure be back and would warmly recommend this place to all - families, romantic couples of friend groups! e.g. we were welcomed with colored eggs on orthodox Easter morning in the restaurant, although in Slovenia Easter holidays happened ca one month ago! We were allowed to use the parking lot for the whole day after we checked out! We asked for a kettle for water in the room and we got it although this is not planned service in this hotel. The food was every day very good, fresh, tasty and each day different, always with fish or veggie options, always with a lot of healthy food, e.g. beetroot and carrot juice i have not seen even in the 5 stars hotels so often, better to say extremely rarely! they have it, fresh! so if you want to feel like home (no luxury, just veeeery nice and comfortable), you may freely go there! Best regards for all great people working there from Vienna!

An extraordinary surprise in all aspects. The hotel accommodations were amazing. The staff is multilingual and helped with every possible request. Rooms and amenities are clean, spacious, and welcoming. Great breakfast buffet. Central location, near the bus stop. Also, public transportation is more than affordable and takes you almost anywhere, including nearby Croatia and Italy. Although the beaches don't have sand, the water is clean. Great vacation for families, couples, and solo travelers.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. At check-in we lost more than 2 hours because of parking. The number of parking spots is negligible relative to the number of rooms. So the hotel uses a parking lot 3 kilometers away from the hotel. Which is serviced by the valet of the hotel with one guest car. We were at least 30 families arriving within a short period of time. A total mess, loss of holiday time and a terrible experience. The room was big, but refrigerator was not cleaned after the previous guests. And some belongings of them (clothes) were still in the wardrobe. The toilet I had to disinfect by myself. There is a big water damage at the shower ceiling. Some renovation would be needed. Through the thin walls you could hear everything what was spoken in the neighboring room. Even understand the words at night. The hotel beach was totally unprepared, although that is already the second long weekend and the temperature is above 30 degrees Celsius. No sunchair service, no beach bar, no open toilet. Everybody is peeing around. The hotel breakfast is extremely basic, you should not lose more than 15 minutes there.

I stayed at the Mirna hotel with my husband and daughter for a short 4-day holiday and the desire to return soon, now that we are home, is great! Of the Life Class chain, this hotel is the quietest. We appreciated the peace and silence even in the soundproof rooms. The swimming pools for adults and children can be reached on foot and in a bathrobe through covered tunnels that connect the 6 hotels of the chain. There is more than one Wellness center available, with mud massages and spa treatments. Dinner is self-service as is breakfast. We found a nice variety of food, vegetables, fruit that satisfied our every need. The staff is very helpful and friendly, even speaking Italian. Parking is available for a fee, both uncovered (2 km from the hotel with shuttle service) and covered in the garage under the hotel. The mini club is available with many entertainers and a small playground inside. The location is excellent, a few steps from the center and the seafront, with shops and restaurants immediately available. Congratulations to all the staff for the management...this makes the difference in satisfying customers!

In a group, I spent three nights solo at the Mirna hotel. Nice surprise, my room 402 is very spacious and has a sea view! Two beds pushed together forming a large sleeping area, a sofa, a desk-dressing table, a pretty little terrace overlooking trees with a wide sea view, a stocked mini-bar (extra charge), a large bathroom with bathtub, all very clean and very quiet, what more could you ask for? The location of the hotel allows you to get to the seafront by a fairly steep slope (which you then have to go back up!) but restaurants and ****** are really nearby. The breakfast is very satisfactory (despite the industrial orange juice!) there is a good choice and the staff is very attentive. As I was with a group, I did not have a choice of meals, ordered, but good, plentiful and served quickly. The large and bright dining room can however be quite noisy when busy. A little disappointment for the swimming pool, not yet open this season: it is a fairly small above-ground pool, but you can enjoy the swimming pool of the neighboring Apollo hotel by using internal corridors (renting a bathrobe costs €6!)… Not having been there, I can’t say more.
