We have just left the hotel and we are now heading to Cagliari Airport to get get to our real lives after this absolutely perfect and amazing holidays . I’ve already travelled a lot , around the world with and without our kids and by experience I can tell that this is the best I’ve ever experienced . The peaceful location, the crew, the perfect cleaning . The magical piano music during breakfast . Heaven delicious food with fresh fish, seafood , tender meat , flawless Crew always with a smile and ready to make your stay special and memorable . I would like to thank Falkensteiner hotels for having such an amazing team, that always has a truthful smile to give and to help. Here I found a perfect place to rest. The music during dinner was also so beautiful and with such amazing talents and good taste. Also the surroundings … dream turquoise beach’s, villa simius , Cagliari old town with so much to learn and see. Perfect destination! Not to mention the spa , the flowers, trees, beautiful gardens, the cute farm animals ( family of donkeys and goats ❤️) . The relaxing sounds of the bells of the sheep’s nearby eating and climb the mountains… I will surely come back and this time I will get the cape boi suite , a room with sea view which the staff kindly presented us before we leave the hotel . Definitely recommend it’s a DREAM! Thank you

A very beautiful estate, outside. Badly needs to be renovated inside. We had a sea view suite and the view was stunning, but curtains has holes in it and when being in the bathroom you could literally communicate with your neighbour through the air vent - so pretty bad quality insulation. Or should I say non. Kids everywhere, so definitely not a place for couples. Would not come back to this place. Mind blowing to think they charged us 1k per night for this poor quality.

Nice resort in beautiful area, perfect for young families but we went when it was still low season in May so not very busy. There was no swim up pool bar, poolside drink service at the adult pool was lacking unless you looked for someone so it was not as convenient as we thought. The spa unfortunately when we went didnt work but the treatments were lovely and Graziella was a stand out and very helpful. Beach area was private and nice however the frontage was covered in rocks so a local beach was much nicer called Porta Giunca - you really need a hire car. Breakfast and dinner buffets were good. Overall would not recommend for couples, there were a lot of young families and kid friendly areas.

Such a bad hotel! Nothing close to a 5 star hotel! Lots of the staff is rude, including the hotel manager and the receptionist. Food is NOT good, and it feels like you eat the same think morning , lunch and dinner! Same cheese, bread, vegetable . You can’t see the food anymore after 2 days The mini club hours are bad, not many activities, life guards don’t do their job! If you don’t want your kids in the pool, then the mini club sums up in 2 hours a day. Some of the staff is wonderful such as Matteo and Daniel from the mini club, but that’s it! Rooms are old and dirty. I really don’t recommend! There are so many better hotels . This really is a bad hotel! Save your money and stay away!

We stayed at this fine hotel for our first holiday as a family with our 7 month year old girl, Aria. The Hotel and surrounding location is beautiful. The rooms are beautifully clean, very well looked after by the cleaning staff, very spacious and comfortable. The food was spectacular. A huge array of options for both breakfast and for dinner included in the price. The Pasta section was very good, with choices of pasta and risotto each evening with a great selection of traditional Sardinian dishes too. The meat and grill section (secondi) could be a little hit and miss but with good selections also. The dessert section was wonderful and we had some of the best desserts we had ever tasted! The service was also excellent. Michele and his team at the Carigliani restaurant were very welcoming, great with our little girl, and were always helpful and friendly. Particular shout out to Enzo (we were sorry we didn't get to thank him personally at the end!) Aronne managing the pizzeria and pool areas was amazing also, nothing was ever too much for him and he made us feel extremely welcome. Impeccable cappucino also ;) The hotel staff were all pleasant and welcoming, and made sure we had all we needed for the stay. From Antonello who greeted us and gave us a tour of the resort, to Maria Grazia at the Spa with her wonderful massages! Our only minor issue was with the price of everything which is to be expected in a resort hotel, especially when not near a larger town or city, but €5.50 for a bottle of water at dinner, and €10.00 for a 125ml glass of wine, however delicious, was pretty steep. The nearest town Villasimius is only 6km away and yet the quote for a taxi organised by the hotel with the two of us and our baby daughter was €50.00 which is extremely overpriced. We therefore used the bus more often for trips but they only come once every 4 hours or so at this time of year so made planning trips to Cagliari etc rather difficult. All in all, we had an excellent stay at Resort Capo Boi and were throughly impressed with the hotel, staff, services, food and facilities and we hope to be back. Many thanks to all the team from Sam, Sanaz and baby Aria :)

This was one of two hotels we visited in Sardinia after 3years of no family holidays abroad, and it did not disappoint at all! The grounds are exquiste! The reception area is very well designed and team very polite. We were torn between a garden family suite, or sea view suite, and even though the cost difference was a leap, we chose sea view and it was definitely a great decision! The views were just mouth watering. I will just let my pictures do the talking scenic-wise. There was a great selection of buffet food during breakfast (even a fresh juicing section) and dinner with a lovely layout. We have dietary restrictions, but found there was always something on offer and they clearly laid out the allergens for each and every dish. They even made freshly baked choco-coconut vegan muffins for breakfast :D The beach area was small but gorgeous with a mixture of fine to coarse sand, and some boulders for adventurous climbers. The kids pool was freezing but lovely with a little slide and was located near the large outdoor playground. There was also a mini farm-like area opposite with some donkeys and goats which were fun to feed, and donkeys sometimes let out on the main grounds to safely graze. They also put out a bouncy castle from time to time. The beach restaurant had a lovely interior and wonderful views. We ended up getting room service mostly, which had a bit of a room service charge whacked on (I think €5), but nicely presented and didnt have to wait too long each time (considering we were at the far end of the hotel). The room had a nice design, and was tidy (did I mention the beautiful views?), but there are a few hard surfaces, so would need to keep a close eye on toddlers/babies. Jessica on the reception desk assisted us with queries and was just generally lovely to talk to. They also had a high standard of musical entertainment in the evenings which we listened to from our balcony under the night stars (the Sinatra tribute/Jazz man was excellent). Simply wonderful! :D Edited for photos.

This is an excellent resort for both those with and without children. Some reviewers did not think it worked well for couples with all the families around, and perhaps that is a problem in the summer, but during our visit in mid-October, there was plenty of room for couples and families alike. Our room (a junior suite with sea view) was lovely and the cleaning staff (which came by twice a day!) were excellent. There is both a small-ish beach and three swimming pools. The breakfast buffet (along with made to order eggs) was vast, and the dinner buffet plus grill was excellent - more tasty than I would have expected. Many seafood choices.

Poorly managed hotel with ( at best) 3 star service not five star. Rip off charges for water 5.50 euro/ bottle even charged for icecream and 40 euro for the cheapest bottle of very average wine was unacceptable. No feedback at all from complaints- the hot water pressure was so low in our room it was difficult to have a hot shower before the water cut off. The food was of good quality but repetitive. Kids under five everywhere not fun when you want to enjoy dinner looking out to sea but have screaming kids running around. The hotel is in a remote corner of the island and without a car you are hostage to the hotel. Overall I was very disappointed. I loved Sardinia but would not go back to this hotel.
