"I used a twin bed with my dad
The number of floors was number 6 on the first floor, spacious and tidy!!
First of all, it is not located on a hill, so there is no need to drag your luggage up.
The location is perfect as it is located next to the main river Douro!
The breakfast is so delicious, and it's the best way to spend an elegant day in Porto🫶"
"Arco Apartments in Porto is a hidden gem! The location is superb, the amenities are top-notch, and the service is outstanding. Definitely a 5-star experience! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"

"I liked the most among European hotels I went to this time on my honeymoon.
It's a small but lovely and very pretty hotel.
When I was curious, it was said that it was built in 1829, but it is in excellent condition. It was rather antique and very good.
When you open the window, the view is so pretty as if it were in a fairy tale.
In the plaza in front, they perform performances, and they are gathered right in front of the bar restaurant, so the location is the best.
If I go back to Porto, I will definitely stay at this hotel!!
(Breakfast is tidy, but there are too few eggplants.)"
"This hotel is in the perfect location for Porto with everything in the city within a 10 minute walk away. The inside of the hotel feels very relaxed and updated, and the reception staff are very helpful should you have any questions!
We always stay at NH collection hotels around the world and this was one of the best ones we have stayed at."

Amazing
GGuest UserLast year I had the most wonderful stay at Menina Colina, and was excited to return. Unfortunately I now wish I had reserved elsewhere, as it has been nothing but a disappointment.
Prices are so much higher than a year ago, but I thought I got what was a good deal on the garden room. Turns out it is greatly overpriced for what is offered, as it has none of the exquisite design or attention to detail that the interior rooms have. It also seems to be neglected in terms of maintenance. The coffee machine was leaking, and after reporting it, it was made out to be my fault as I was using it incorrectly. I had to physically show a member of staff the leaked water for them to agree to replace it. I was really annoyed that they felt that they needed to demonstrate to me how it works rather than just replacing it immediately.
The next disappointment was that the room was initially not serviced at all, and no explanation was given. When you are paying $165 for a mediocre room (not even including breakfast), one would at the very least expect the bins to be emptied.
The bathroom also had a terrible smell that permeated the room, and mosquitoes were a problem too.
Management did offer me lunch or attendance of their fado show, but none of these arrangements fitted into my busy programme. I thought a small financial compensation would have made more sense. That did not happen, and nothing further was mentioned or discussed on check-out.
The final issue was the online check-out which they require. When I tried to complete it, my bill was for my entire stay, although 3 of the 4 nights had already been paid months in advance. So my conclusion is unfortunately that Menina Colina’s standards have dropped significantly, and that it is overpriced for the lack of attention to detail that is evident in several areas.
TTravelang88Hotel is centrally located near to Sao Bento station and can walk to most attractions like the clerigos and cathedral. There are also several food options available. The only downside is there’s not much amenities. The gym is pretty small and no swimming pool
GGuest UserOur family reserved 3 rooms and arrived on a very early flight . Jose was kind enough to get 1 of our rooms ready within an hour so we could at least wash up, rest for a bit, and refresh before going out for the day. He continued to take care of us throughout our stay with anything we needed, while being extremely kind and personal. He is an excellent representative of the quality and care the hotel offers. We also liked the ambiance of the hotel. It was nicely lit and decorated in a fun, eclectic, and relaxing fashion. Our room rate included the breakfast which was an amazing spread with much variety, highly recommend. Location was central, easy walking distance everywhere. Small disappoin**ent was lack of gym. I know we walk around alot but it would’ve nice to have the option as my husband and son like to exercise quite a bit. In addition, the TV lounge room which can be nice for teenagers/kids to use while waiting for our rooms to be ready was rather plain in terms of interior design, just gray concrete walls, as opposed to the interesting and colorful designs of the rest of the hotel. This is just an observation, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again.
CCiptaningrumWe booked a junior suite and asked to be put on a high floor. However, we got assigned the ground floor room facing the inner courtyard, making the room quite dark. And the lighting inside the room did not help either since most of the lights were directed light. We have asked for a change of room but was told its not available. The room is on the ground floor close to the lobby and the restaurant. When we asked to change the room, I have expressed my concern that it would be noisy and the front desk agent assured me that it would not be the case. Then on New Year's Eve, they have a party in the restaurant with very loud music. And the sound obviously leaked into our room, and the party lasted till the small hours.
The selection of food items at breakfast is quite limited. Its really quite mediocre compared with other hotels in this category. The only saving grace for this hotel is its location.
JJulian TayThe hotel is probably one of the best in Porto. Unfortunately the online experience had not been pleasant. I realised that I booked a non cancellation stay in advance prior to my trip. When my trip was changed and my Porto is extended from 3 nights to 5 nights. I asked both the agent (Trip/Expedia) and Iater through the hotel for modification of the dates. They refused after several tries. In the end, we decided to forgo one night due to change in air ticket and stayed for the duration of our stay. The remaining nights at Porto. We decided to defer to another hotel. If the hospitality service can be better we would have stay there throughout. This is unfortunate coming from highly recognised hotel here.
LLkcssA 2-night stay in this hostel, offered a wonderful London, just beside the river in Porto, and very close to every attractions. About the stay, everything’s good, they even offer storages part in bathroom for personal stuffs. Breakfast is so tasty, everything is great, one of the best hostel I’ve even stayed in Portugal.
JJinwooOne of the Best Serviced Apartments We’ve Stayed At
This was easily the best serviced apartment we’ve stayed at recently. All the facilities were brand new, and the cleanliness—especially in the kitchen and bathroom—surpassed even some 4-star hotels. Everything we needed was provided, and the interior design was excellent. The bed was also very comfortable. Great location, great price, great amenities.
Here are a few potential downsides that might matter to some guests:
• The internet was very slow. The Wi-Fi signal on the second floor was the strongest, so we used that, but it was barely sufficient for even checking emails. It felt as if the connection was intentionally throttled. If you need stable internet for work, tethering through your phone might actually be faster.
• No elevator. Our unit was located on the second floor, and we had to carry about 30kg of luggage up the stairs ourselves. Even a small, old-fashioned lift would have been a huge help.
• Noise from upstairs. Although the apartment was newly renovated, the flooring is still the original wooden structure, so noise from the upper floor can be heard. We were tired enough to sleep through it with earplugs, but sensitive guests should take this into account. Booking the top-floor unit might solve this issue, though that means climbing even more stairs.
• Early check-in confusion. We had requested an early check-in, but it wasn’t communicated properly. As a result, we had to drop off our luggage at the YOUROPO office, which is about a 6–7 minute walk from the apartment. I wonder if we could’ve left our luggage directly at the property if the message had gone through properly—perhaps someone from the team could clarify?
Despite these minor issues, I would still give this property a full 5 stars. If we visit Porto again, YOUROPO will be at the top of our list.
GGuest UserA decent hotel but was disappointed that on arrival I paid an additional 30 Euros for a room with a balcony, its a pity I was informed that they expected it to rain for the whole duration of my stay, I unfortunately couldnt use the balcony at any point due to it being wet all he time, what a waste of money!!!!!
姚姚The hotel is in the center of the old city, and the navigation is also very easy to miss in a path, there is valet parking service at the door, parking fee 15 euros per day. The room was unexpectedly small, but the rooftop bar could add points. Good service. The hotel is surrounded by Portuguese specialty small restaurants, very convenient.
XXINYINGHotel location is on the riverside, not far from some famous attractions, the booking is very smooth in Ctrip, the hotel front desk service staff is very good, the hotel facilities are also good, the bathroom is very clean and very large, that is, the bedroom area is a bit small, Room WiFi speed is too slow
