I liked the hotel, comfortable remote check-in, the hotel also did not cancel my reservation when authorization from a bank card failed, for which I also thank you!
The location is good, close to all the main attractions of Porto and good transport accessibility.
The street is very quiet, the soundproofing in the hotel is good. It smells like fresh wood. There are no interruptions in water supply, the bed is soft, there are no foreign odors, according to reviews I expected the worst, but the hotel is wonderful!
Breakfasts could be more varied.
The place is wonderful, I would come back again!

The day i arrived the host made me wait for more than 2 hours for check-in. He wouldn't answer the calls or texts. Heard the same complaint from other customers. My room was like a prison cell, terrible mold smell. It has one small window looking to a ventilation hall so i was simply seing a wall, there was no way to see the sky. The place is very noisy; there was constant air condition buzz coming from the ventilation hall. The staff also very noisy. The host was exceptionally rude. I reccomend strongly to stay away from this place.

How are some of these reviews here so bad?It’s a clean and cute hotel! Very narrow but perfectly fits all the needs if you just need a good place to sleep. The comfort and location in the historical center are one of the best features; we did everything in Porto by walking, and because of the quiet airconditioning and thick walls we slept in complete silence. The lady who served the breakfast (Ketryn) is so lovely, we got loads of great recommendations for things to do in Porto that we wouldn’t have seen without her. The owner (or manager idk) even texted me to check if everything was alright when arriving. 10/10 experience, would book here again.

Small, boutique guesthouse, 3 minutes walk down the hill to the famous Douro riverbank in the centre of Porto - great location. The room was small but comfortable with great beds and shower, also fridge and good locker space. But, only a tiny window into a tiny back ventilation area, so no daylight really. Wonderful breakfast including local cakes! Lovely service staff - when they are there. Nobody around most of the time after breakfast. Pin code for entry. All in all, a good bolt hole for the centre, but best to get a front room with daylight!

A lovely room with balcony overlooking the street. It is located in the older part of town, just a couple blocks from the river and main road. The bed was comfortable, the staff nice, breakfast good, the shower nice, and there are many cafes and things to see within walking distance. It was quiet at night. The hotel is small, only 7 or 8 rooms. I felt very safe as a solo traveler.

Way better than the 4 star hotel I stayed at the night before. In Europe I judge hotels/guesthouses by 2 things. 1. How comfy the bed is. 2. How comfy the bathroom is. While this definitely wasn’t the biggest room I’ve ever stayed in, it was very comfortable. The bed was soft, and didn’t crick or squeak on every turn. There were nice wooden accents in the room and a balcony which you could see the duoro river. The whole place was recently redesigned and it had a lift which made it easy to transport luggage. I would highly recommend this guest house. Ps. Be sure to let them know when you’re arriving as it’s typically only staffed when they are expecting you. This did not interfere with our stay as I was able to call the owner and he talked me through how to get access to my room.

Comunicazione efficace con il proprietario sempre al telefono con dettatura dei codici. Le camere standard ovvero quelle con numero pari sono verso il monte ed hanno una apertura di luce da una bocca di lupo, la camera è umida in quanto con roccia a vista. Buone le finiture in legno. Le camere dispari danno verso la via e dovrebbero avere la finestra. Gentilissima la ragazza della colazione anche se il posto non è per tutti e abbiamo fatto una colazione improvvisata in entrata. La cosa più positiva è la zona proprio centrale
