We stayed two nights in this lovely small hotel and wish we could have stayed two weeks! It was extraordinary. Our room (#2) was huge, and the bathroom was amazing -- lots of counter space with 2 sinks and a walk-in shower with 2 separate shower heads. The staff is delightful--all were very friendly and helpful, without exception. We loved bartender Joanna in the evening and made a dinner of tapas and drinks there both nights. Breakfast (included in the room fee) each morning was wonderful, served by the personable Susannah. This place was a welcome change from the typical large, sterile hotel. And amazingly, we booked it through Hyatt so got Hyatt points, as well. We spent two weeks exploring Portugal, and our stay at Cocorico in Porto was one of the highlights of our trip.

Just had 3 perfect nights in Porto. Loved this hotel - great style. The staff are lovely. Breakfasts excellent. We liked the location - just a bit away from the crowds but a very easy walk to the sights and funicular.

The service from the manager, breakfast and bar staff was excellent. Joanne ( bar manager) went out of her way to help with restaurant reservations, organizing a takeaway breakfast for our early flight home amongst other things. The hotel is well located but on a busy street so it was noisy at times. The bar and restaurant area seemed only to be for hotel guests and offered limited tapas in the evening. Bit surprised it is not a fully functioning restaurant in the evening as it's a lovely setting and food at breakfast and service is first class.

We really enjoyed our stay the Cocorico last week. The location is convenient, but within walking distance to the city center. Very friendly and attentive staff! It’s our 1st stay at the beautiful boutique hotel and would strongly recommend anyone to stay here in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay at cocorico! The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable - we felt very relaxed there. We travelled with friends and the team were very thoughtful making sure to set up the same table for us in the morning so we could eat together etc. It's out of immediate downtown so feels quiet but is so walkable anywhere you want to go, so we felt the location was perfect. We loved the chilled vibes, having drinks at the bar or the quiet terrace. Definitely felt like a little haven. I feel compelled to write a review though because the team were SO good, particular shout out to Joanna and Marcia who looked after us so well. Gave us great tips and recommendations and went out of their way to make restaurant reservations for us. Thank you, both!

The stay was lovely. The ladies working were always available for our needs. The breakfast was fresh and quick. Room was large and layout was nice.
