AWFUL!!! I booked a feminine room but they gave me a Mixed room and when I told the girl at the reception I couldn't sleep with men I didn't know for my past problems, she just SMILED and said "sorry I can't do nothing" really this place should close. I just left

Excellent service from Joel. Kind young man for helping us carrying our luggage’s to room without our knowing. Climbing the stairs to level 4 with luggage’s really no joke! Bedroom are clean and comfortable! Thanks for helping us getting a taxi too! Appreciated

Double room with shared bathroom with another double room. Good space, soundproof window, very clean room and bathroom. Very friendly reception. Perfect location for those who want lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

Excellent location, close to places to eat, ATM, shops, city center. A very clean and quiet place. I arrived at São Bento station and walked (it's about 10 minutes from the hostel) and the Ribeira Rio Douro is about 15 minutes away on foot. When I went to the airport, I took the train at Trindade station which is also close enough to walk. I stayed in a shared room with 8 girls with a bathroom in the room (2 showers, 2 sinks, 2 toilets and 1 hairdryer) everything was very clean. The only thing I didn't like was that the shower door was very transparent... I had to hang a towel to cover it up, and the beds were very uncomfortable because I had no privacy. Those in the bottom bed had a curtain to close their space, but those in the top bed didn't have much separation between the 2 beds that were together on top. Also, when I turned on the light on my bed at night it lit up the whole room, I had to put a scarf to cover it so it wouldn't bother the other girls. But in general, everything else was fine... If I went back, I would stay there again (although I would try to ask for a bottom bed).

We stayed 6 nights in a mixed dormitory of 10 people, and this first youth hostel experience makes us want to go back! The room overlooks a courtyard with 2 terraces where little noise is heard at night. The sheets are changed every day and each dormitory has its own bathroom, which is washed very regularly. The staff is very welcoming and offers activities regularly, including welcome drinks where you are happy to meet other travelers! The kitchen is well equipped. In short, an exemplary stay!

We had a great time here! It was easy to get to know people, The staff were very welcoming and friendly, thanks to Diogo in particular! The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The location is ideal, 5 minutes from the metro to the airport and close to the center. We did our entire stay on foot. Great stay at sao jao time 🥳. Small downside, the soundproofing of the rooms!

We stayed one night in this hotel and everything was as per the reviews posted on Tripadvisor. The welcome is excellent. The staff is very friendly. We were two adults and a child in a spacious, clean and very bright room with bathroom and toilet. It also benefits from a pretty balcony. It is possible in the evening to cook yourself because the hotel provides its customers with a shared kitchen with all the essential equipment. Breakfast in the morning is included in the room price. It's not extraordinary but is more than enough to start a good day. The choice of this breakfast is fresh bread, cheese, cold meats, homemade cake, orange juice, fruit, milk, tea and coffee. You will be asked upon arrival what time you want to have breakfast to avoid there being too many people in the room. To conclude, everything is perfect in this small, low-cost hotel for Porto and ideally located in the city center.
