Good location but not a 5-star hotel. Room is small and heating is very weak. The water pressure extremely low. Not comfortable

The hotel was in a great location but so are other ones with a better experience.
For a 5* hotel, it was a rather disappointing experience. Not was rather cold and not welcoming.
Two nights in a row we had to wait for some guest to open the door because there was no hotel staff available in the facility.
Sadly, this has been a repeating experience with the hotels from the pestana group.

The staff was very helpful and courteous and the property is wonderful. The only drawback is that the hotel is smack in the middle of a city-wide road/subway construction project which makes access a challenge. It is in a great location for site seeing - but we recommend an Uber for the return as it’s a wicked uphill hike.

Due to metro construction, access to the hotel either via taxi or bolt/uber was a little hazzle. Other than that, the location of the hotel was really convenient for those who wants to walk to downtown shopping and excellent restaurants areas. Hotel staff was really friendly and as helpful as possible. English speakers will have no issue to communicate with them. Room decor was beautiful but our room was in the corner, so accessing to the bathroom from one side of the bed may seem really awkard, especially when you wake up in the middle of the night. Else, the room was really nice. Breakfast was great in my opinion. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel in the centre of old Porto. Easy walk to the cathedral, shops and Sao Bento station. Clean, spacious room. A bit noisy because of work being done on the road but overall would recommend
