A really great place, couldn't recommend enough. Great location, great view, lovely room and truly exceptional service. They made a real effort to make the stay special, and they achieved it. And Porto is a lovely city to visit. Thank you to all the staff.

My wife and I stayed in the spacious apartment at Pipa D'Oro to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I was very impressed with the communication we received from the hotel prior to and during our visit, which helped make our stay comfortable. Upon arrival, the hotel person spent 10-15 minutes with us to mark on a map various restaurants and places to visit during our stay. Our room was very spacious and we enjoyed the views from our balcony. The swimming pool next door was great. We took an overnight cruise up the Douro River and Ricardo helped arrange transfer of our two large bags to Alibi, another one of their properties that I also highly recommend, to our room where it was waiting for us when we checked in. You will not be disappointed staying with Yoursporto and Pipa D'oro.

What a great place to stay for a few days. We booked a room with a river view and the view was fantastic. Staff were amazing as were the facilities (pool, sun loungers also ). The breakfast in a basket delivered to your door each morning was great . We both enjoyed our stay and if we weee back in Porto we would stay here again.

Due to the covid situation we have tried to postpone the reservation and the owners of the apartment have not even deigned to answer our messages. We are confined and will not be able to travel, so we have tried to postpone our trip (not even cancel it) and we have not even been given the opportunity to explain or find an alternative. I do not recommend this apartment and more so in the delicate situation we are going through. A little heart and more empathy is what we lack. A SHAME.

Lugar perfeito para se hospedar no Porto. O estúdio com vista do rio é de tirar o fôlego, e tem tudo que você precisa para uns dias na cidade. Me esperaram com vinho do Porto, o que foi apreciado. Instalações modernas e bem decoradas. Terraço para aproveitar as noites estreladas. Silencioso para descansar. Disponibilidade para deixar as bagagens caso seu check-in ou check-out esteja fora dos horários estabelecidos. Staff super atencioso. Tive um pequeno problema com o chuveiro que levava um tempo até regular a temperatura certa. A localização é segura e privilegiada, podendo conhecer praticamente tudo do centro histórico caminhando. A ponte Dom Luis também é de fácil acesso, sendo possível ir a pé até Vila Nova de Gaia. Super recomendo!

Pour une première visite de 3 nuits à Porto, à 3, nous avions choisi Pipa D'oro qui offre des studios modernes dans des bâtiments traditionnels idéalement situés dans le centre historique de Porto tout en étant au calme, car sur les hauteurs du Douro et dans une rue moins touristique. Beau studio très propre et correctement équipé (y compris cuisine et SDB). Nous avions une chambre au centre du studio (donc ne donnant pas directement sur une fenêtre) avec une excellente literie, donnant sur le salon / cuisine où le sofa servait de lit double, malheureusement pas très confortable la nuit. La climatisation donnait sur ce salon et, du coup, différence de température entre le lit sofa (trop froid) et le lit double (trop chaud). Dommage. Autre souci, le balcon était vraiment petit et surtout, à côté du système extérieur de la climatisation qui diffusait de l'air chaud. Désagréable. Par contre, vue dégagée sur la vallée du Douro, la Sé et le Pont Luis (ainsi que quelques grues mais Porto semble en chantier permanent). Par dessus tout et raison première de mon choix pour un mois d'août: très belle piscine chauffée, exceptionnelle au centre de Porto ! Nombre de transats un peu juste quand tout le monde veut en profiter mais pas de quoi créer des conflits. Juste une musique d'ambiance "lounge" un peu pénible. Bon accueil en anglais. Pas de clés mais des codes pour les portes, très pratique. Petit déjeuner déposé devant la chambre très copieux (sucré, salé)... On a aimé. Possibilité de prendre un repas "surprise" à 50 EUR sans les boissons. On n'a pas testé. Bref, je recommande surtout pour la localisation et la piscine !

Pour mon premier séjour à Porto, j’ai été un peu déçu par cet hôtel. Le lit n’est pas confortable, il n’y a quasiment pas de rangement possible dans la chambre, aucun dans les sanitaires pour ce studio. La terrasse avec vue dégagée et sur les grues qui parsèment le centre historique, est grande mais orientée plein sud, sans parasol, elle n’est utilisable que le soir. Pas de table ni chaises. Défaut d’entretien: herbes folles et mégots dans le pot qui est sensé recevoir des fleurs. En outre elle n’est séparée de la terrasse voisine que par un garde-corps d’un mètre environ. Pour y accéder vous devez utiliser un escalier qui vous fait plonger le regard sur le lit de la chambre voisine, et réciproquement! L’autre argument de vente, la piscine est en fait une pataugeoire, peu profonde, où il ne faut pas espérer nager, j’ai pu y compter plus de 20 personnes qui se contentaient de s’y tramper. Le seul point positif, outre la gentillesse du personnel, est la situation géographique de l’hôtel pour se promener dans Porto. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement et je le regrette.
