My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Prana. David and Sylvia are incredible thoughtfull, friendly and loving hosts, and so is their staff. We were taken care of in a wonderful way: everything we needed was there, and if not, it would be arranged immediately. The room (number 5) was very cosy, with a sunny balcony, lots of light, and even when we got offered a bigger room, we still wanted to stay in this one. I also enjoyed a wonderful treatment in their studios, and again also this was a very good experience. We felt a wonderful balance in have private space and at the same time directly being able to approach the staff to ask for something. Thanks to all of you!

This is a lovely guesthouse ran by lovely hosts for which nothing was to much trouble.We had a two night stay 30th/31st December booked to enjoy the New Year festivities.The complimentary champagne on New years eve was a lovely gesture. The rooms are modern, spacious and decorated and furnished to a very high standard.Communal kitchen was really useful cobtaining everything you could need. Great location for getting around to Alvor,Ferrugudo,Praia De Rocha etc and within easy walking distance to the Old Town. A really nice experience.

Silvia and her team are exceptionally lovely and welcoming. Villa Prana is an oasis of relaxation to surrender and heal. I only stayed for two days but I would definitely recommend staying for longer and organizing a whole retreat package with Silvia. The place was taken care of with so much love, rooms were beautiful and comfortable and this common area was always clean. The yoga sessions I participated were fantastic! Within only two days I felt like I had become part of a very special home.

The thought and love that goes into this little hidden gem in the algarve was just heartwarming..from facial oil samples to try and fresh cut oranges in the water, it was just beautiful. Do not fret over the shared bathroom as it sparkled and smelled amazing. Did she have secret cleaning elves 24hrs a day? ;)…I highly recommend starting your day off with one of Silvia’s amazing yoga classes before heading off to the beautiful coastline or a sailboat cruise from Portimão’s swanky marina, before heading back with some vino to sit on the lovely roof top garden of the villa. In ten days in the Algarve Villa Prana was by far my most favorite and comfortable stay! I will be back for sure!! And next time I will try a massage!

It was a truly enjoyable staying at Villa Prana, great service and warm and friendly recepit. Room very nice, bright and clean, with all needed set ups and access to the terrace which I enjoyed especially during the breakfasts. The hosts were very helpful, doing extra mile for me to make me feel comfortable and very welcome. And yoga classes, different types and options to select during the day. Great experience and energy. Really recommend this fantastic place! I will get back :)

I had a lovely stay at Villa Prana. It was very peaceful and relaxing. I would absolutely recommend and look forward to staying there again the next time I'm in Portimão. Wifi not the strongest in the room in case you have to work, but there is a common area and if not local cafés nearby with good internet access. The room was clean, cozy, and I enjoyed the amenities. The staff were the best, very accommodating and very helpful. Again, I definitely recommend staying at Villa Prana.

Clean & cozy room. We felt very welcome and enjoyed all the little extra attentions, like fruit, sweets and always a bottle with drinking water in the room. It’s easy to park your car and there is a big supermarket at walkingdistance.

The guesthouse is spotless and smells good everywhere. The rooms are above the yoga studio which is on the ground floor. There's a nice patio for relaxing, and lots of plants around. It's a peaceful atmosphere. My room had a/c, a tv, a proper bedside light for reading, and the most comfortable bed I had in Portugal, including a separate blanket and sheet which I appreciated very much as that's not the case in many places in Portugal. There's a communal fridge & microwave. The neighborhood is very quiet at night. It's a 5 minute walk to the marina where there's a promenade, and from where the boat tours leave for Benagil Cave. Very easy, free parking is available on the street. Sylvia and David are EXCEPTIONALLY sweet and helpful in all respects, and I would gladly stay there again.
