Vitors Plaza

Very Clean, spacious in a great location, breakfast was good, would be nice if there were a few more options.

Our second stay at Vitors Plaza for 28 days this time. Set about a 40-minute walk from the centre, perhaps 30 minutes or less for younger ones or a 10 minute Uber ride for under 5 euros. Reception is a welcoming place, as are the receptionists, very helpful. The apartments are spacious (we had a one bedroom) large balcony and clean. The housekeepers are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. Our housekeepers remembered us from two years ago. The pool area is very good and there is an indoor pool. It's just a lovely place to stay.

Having stayed here previously which was blissful was looking forward to a longer 2 week stay this time. Was allocated as requested same apartment as previous which was great and still same cleanliness etc. but where this falls down this time is they seem to have lost control over who they want to cater for, so if you want a holiday where you fancy a quiet lie around the pool, forget it as they allow or have little control over people playing load music forcing you to listen to someone else’s head banging crap for hours on end. When you complain they do something which lasts for 5 minutes. But as we all know when you get youngsters they then take it to the balcony’s overlooking the pool which then escalates to a competition between different rooms. This goes on for hours and when you complain reception says they couldn’t hear anything from there, but will do something if you complain, reception is right by pool and I could hear while I stood there complaining. They have staff there walking around all day but for some reason they don’t wish to be proactive on these issues and instead wait until a complaint is received in order to resolve issues. Nice place but won’t return as although early morning is still bliss waking up to nice quiet surroundings it’s spoiled when come 11am when the music festival starts. If I want that I’ll go to Glastonbury. Food by pool was good, drinks are fine although gone very price €10 for gin and lemonade, rooms very clean and cleaned daily.
