The Coach House

A cosy reasonably priced Room which is excellent value & in wonderful location. Beautiful bathroom, excellent quality & finish amazing views also . We had a wonderful sleep as it is pitch black and so wonderfully quiet

I had a fantastic stay at the Coach house with a lovely warm welcome from the ladies in the Real Coffee shop. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. The breakfast arrangement was great with cerals, porridge, fruit, tea and coffee all in the room. I would highly recommend it.

We were with a group waiting to board the steam train so had some time to get some lunch. Not knowing this village we purchased a sandwich and a coffee and sat on some empty benches, we chatted to a nice guy sitting at a table and continued to enjoy the lovely sunshine. This guy ran out of The coach house and screamed at us saying “when you’ve finished do NOT put your rubbish in my bin and hurry up out of here”, I asked him not to be so rude but he continued shouting, it was so embarrassing. What we hadn’t realised was, we were sitting on his benches but hadn’t purchased our food there ! He could have been civil to us but chose not to be. Avoid at all costs

3 of us stayed at The Coach House in Beddgelert, with a double room each to ourselves on Saturday 23rd April. We drove up from London that morning and climbed Snowdon in the afternoon, then reached Beddgelert at 7.45pm in the evening- rather exhausted and weary. Our host answered the doorbell from the Coffee Shop quickly and showed us to our rooms. We had a key for each room and then one for the main door. He made sure we had everything we needed, we were happy with the temperature of the rooms, and asked us if we had a booking for dinner (we did) to make sure we were able to get something to eat as it was getting late. The rooms were lovely, clean and fresh with beautiful views of Snowdon. The bathrooms were spotless and modern, fresh fluffy towels provided on a warm rail, with waterfall showers that were so appreciated after a hard climb that afternoon! Each of us said the beds were comfy, the area was very peaceful and quiet and the cutrains were good blackout ones so we all got a lie in even with the sun rising early. Breakfast was provided in the room and did not disappoint. Tea and coffee facilities, a big selection of cereals, welsh cakes, fresh milk, orange juice, fruit and yogurt in the fridge. All of us wanted to stay for longer in such a beautiful little retreat and I will definitely be returning if I can! Cannot recommend enough :)
