The villa is all on one level, built along traditional Bajan chattel house design with high pickled pine ceilings and polished hardwood floors. There are 3 steps up to the villa but otherwise step-free access to the pool and inside the house. Our housekeeper is available once a week (included), depending on arrival dates. Our Property Management Company provides a comprehensive service to all our guests and a dedicated team in Barbados ensures all your questions are dealt with promptly. Our Villa Manager, Jeanine, will organise for any supplies you request to be ready and waiting for you when you arrive at a small fee - perhaps some rum punch to welcome you after your journey and some basics for your first evening and breakfast? She can also help with taxi transfers from the airport and advise on car rental (hire cars can be delivered to the villa). Jeanine can also provide cot and highchair hire at BBS$35 per day. There is a full time gardener and pool maintenance twice a week. The villa has air conditioning and ceiling fans in the main living area, both bedrooms as well as a ceiling fan outside on the veranda. It has been newly updated, painted inside and out and newly furnished (2022/2023) to reflect traditional Barbados stylish living while providing a pure sense of comfort. There is a Weber Gas BBQ on the veranda for your personal use. On the pool deck there are sun loungers and large parasols. Guests are all provided with an extensive Information Pack with details of the beaches, restaurants, and all the various attractions of Barbados on sea and on land. Level Up Gym in Holetown offers pay-as-you-go activities. Holetown also has some wonderful restaurants - many of which have tables overlooking the sea - such as Tides, Zaccios and Paul Owens At The Beach House. Nearer to home you could sample the delights of the famous Lone Star Restaurant for lunch or dinner - just a 10 minutes walk, or visit the beach front club, bar and restaurant at the luxurious Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel - just 5 minutes away. This is an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner, offering superb food and a first class service - and 10% discount with the villa's Beach Club membership. Further afield, Bridgetown, the capital is about a 30 minute drive south along the stunning coastal road. Short and very sweet My son and I stayed for a quick visit to reacquaint myself with the island. It was everything I wanted: quiet, close to nightlife, accessible by foot and bus to town and the beach. We had a great, low key visit and are ready to return asap!

Location ideal for beach and food shopping if you have a car . With a 1 yr old it was good for space and peace . Pool perfect . Good quality fixtures , linen , appliances . Felt secure with entrance gates etc . Beach club access useful ( although that location wasn’t as luxurious as the main hotel beach . )Would recommend to friends with or without children . Only thing lacking for us was a bath but could have bathed the baby at one end of the shower cubicle .

The villa met all our needs and expectations. The Villa was pristine and completely furnished and stocked with everything you would expect at home. Loved that the light switches and fans were marked! I can't think of anything that we needed that wasn't available. The property is maintained to a high standard. Thank you!

10/10 The house is beautiful and ideally located on the west coast of Barbados - near to the beach and several good restaurants. It is very clean, with every amenity you could want included. The outdoor areas and pool are well maintained and clean too. We had a wonderful holiday! A gem!

A Quiet Enclave The residence was very nice. Quiet, near the beach. The beach club passes were a wonderful addition. We made good use of the pool as well. The kitchen was very well equipped. The "manual" left by Helen was extremely useful. Being very close to public transport was a bonus as we had decided not to rent a car. A thoroughly wonderful experience.

Porters Court Well appointed Villa, with everything you need for your stay to be comfortable. It is very quiet and we always feel secure when visiting. A very short walk to the beach, and only a 20 minute walk into Holetown, if you want daily exercise. The bus service is a short walk and is frequent, which makes it very easy for grocery shopping, dining and roaming in Holetown. Our hosts were lovely to deal with, as were the property management. It really is a perfect location and villa.
