We were welcomed like old friends by wonderful guides that made everyone comfortable from minute 1! What an amazing Trail Ride, 9 family members came together here for a Mothers Day mom will never forget. Every detail was perfectly executed, horses matched to riders capability perfectly from “OMG they are so big” rider to “ Been doing this 50 years” rider! Great job ladies! We are definitely going back to stay n ride next time!!

If I could give a zero I would. The property is wonderful. The owners not so much. If you look at all the most recent reviews the property rating has gone down. This is because the owners sold the property so they truly do not care about their guests or bad reviews because this will just hurt the next owners. I will do my research and find out who bought the property and reach out to them as well in hopes they haven't finalized the sale because they should know what they are getting into. Now with that all out of the way let me explain in great detail so hopefully no one else ever has to experience this kind of bullying. I spent almost 2,000 dollars to rent 4 rooms Friday night and ALL the rooms Saturday. I was getting married Saturday and had explained almost a year in advance I would have people there while I got ready and was told no problem. Well once they had my money it was a problem. He yelled at my guest about parking in the guest parking lot no where near the trail riding parking lot which is what he was yelling about is he had and I quote "A business to run". I'm fairly sure I was a paying guest at that business as well. He told me and I quote again " I'm not used to dealing with your kind of people". Excuse me? What kind of people are those ? Paying customers? People who don't tolerate bullying from grown men yelling at females? I had 3 other business owners there doing my hair, makeup, and photos and all of them have said I have never heard anyone speak to someone like that and stay in business. I will also have them write reviews. I obviously broke no actual rules or he would have called the authorities or kicked me off the property but he knew he didn't have that right as I paid and could show my receipt and broke no actual rules. I find it funny as well he only yelled at the woman not one time did he address any of the men there. Bully's usually do target who they consider to be weak and speaks highly of his character. Now I tried to call about a week later when tensions where down and I had time to look over my agreement. I said to him no where in the agreement does it state I cant have guest when I paid for the rooms. No where in the agreement does it list parking limitations. He said to me "let me explain this really slow so you understand" I stopped him and said sir there is no reason for you to speak to me like that and insult me and he laughed. I said I would like to discuss your treatment of my guest and compensation for me getting charged extra time from my services because I was dealing with him yelling at my guest and he said I must be drunk and hung up on me. I don't even drink. He has not answered the phone since. All in all this business will take your money then treat you like garbage afterwards. The only reason everyone else says they are great is because they only see them at breakfast when they put on a fake smile but if you have any sort of issue with them or the property their true colors show. Thank god for

Wonderful place to stay for long weekend. Stayed in “cottage” room separate from main house. Wonderful English breakfast cooked by host Richard each morning including fresh fruit, juice and coffee/tea. Room was comfortable with small kitchenette. Coffee maker, apartment size fridge and stove plus free Wi-Fi. No television. Microwave would have been a plus. Never met hostess (Daisy). Proprietors sold business recently so hope new owners will maintain this place. Would recommend and hope to return again in the future.

If you are looking for a quiet get away, this is your place. Acres of beauty, horses, dogs, cats, and clear skies with hundreds of stars. Richard and his staff fixed a wonderful English breakfast each day! Close to the park and hiking !!!

It is an excellent value if you just go there for the property. It is 88 acres of beauty - horses, chickens, cats, dogs, a pond and peace and quiet. Add to that a wonderful, charming, welcoming, clean house in which to stay. Add to that an amazing, authentic English breakfast. But if you are still on the fence add Richard and Daisy as hosts and this is more than worth a visit.

Rooms were excellent, clean, and comfortable. Views were spectacular, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Richard and Daisy both do a superb job, and I unreservedly recommend this place to anyone! I also strongly recommend the trail ride, which was great fun!
