The whole place was amazing, the service, the resort, the people, would definitely recommend this place. Vanuatu is a beautiful place in total but this resort was 5 stars in every aspect John and Teena Kelly

Such a special place! We stayed for 7 nights at the resort in a pool view villa. Whilst the accommodation, food, views and food were amazing the real highlight was the staff. They were friendly, professional, attentive accommodating with a little fun as well. We did a few walks to the village as well as a round island tour and private picnic. Thankyou Havanna we could not wished for anything more ! :)

Resort itself - quiet and relaxing. Staff were all lovely and accommodating. You could ask for anything and they would oblige. Gardens are very well maintained. Dining - meals are all included. Breakfast menu doesn't change but there are lots of options in both the light and hot options plus a basket of baked goods, juice, coffee/tea (flat whites are lovely and strong - don't need an extra shot). Fresh local grapefruit juice (pamplemousse) was the best. Lunch is 3 courses, dinner is 4. Luckily, the portions are in line with what you'd expect for a 5 star establishment. Pretty much everything was fresh and handmade. There's also afternoon tea available but the only time we needed that was when we skipped lunch one day. Restaurant is open to the beautiful views and it's sit where you want unless a table is reserved. If you want to reserve the jetty dining table for a specific occasion, suggest you request it via email before you arrive. Some of the table reservations in the main part of the restaurant were getting a bit silly when we left. We had the beach dining experience as part of our romance package - it was nice but I wouldn't bother again. Was very sandy. We had the chef come to cook on our bbq at our villa for us one evening - was great but a lot of food after eating small portions for a few days. All the food was delicious. Service was normally good but after the fireshow it was hit and miss as everyone came to the restaurant at the same time and it was a bit chaotic as to who had their order taken or not. Villa - we had villa 19 with the pool and daybed and outside bath. It was a bit further away from the main building so lovely and quiet. Tea and coffee making and a fridge. Coffee pod machine is a capino not Nespresso and no milk frother but still ok for a first coffee of the day. Bed was a bit hard for our personal preference but depends what you like. Housekeeping was very thorough every morning and turndown service was every night as well. General - we didn't take all the excursions on offer but had an incredibly relaxing time and ate beautiful fresh food every day. Recommend taking your own reef shoes and snorkelling equipment if you are particular. They do have some there to borrow - and they are perfectly fine - but mask didn't quite fit me and constantly had water dribbling in - still able to snorkel and see the fish, just annoying. Download your spotify songs before you go and you can Bluetooth them to the Bose sound system. No salty snacks available (peanuts/crisps) for when you get cravings late afternoon - we bought some at the supermarket in Port Vila. Others bought cartons of Tusker as well and kept them in their room. Overall - worth every cent - beautiful people, place, food, villa, gardens.

This was a much-anticipated trip for a 30th wedding anniversary, and The Havannah did not disappoint. From the moment we were met at Port Vila airport off a 2 am flight, we were welcomed and taken good care of. All staff, in every part of the resort, were warm and friendly. Our Villa was superb, the other facilities exceptional and choice of activities plentiful. All our meals were amazing and we could not have wanted for anything more. This truly was a dream vacation and a perfect place to celebrate a milestone for us. Thank you Raj and all the staff.

We stayed in a waterfront pool villa, the view was outstanding and the decor inside was beautiful. Loved all the staff who couldnt do enough for us, they are very well trained. You can do as much as you want or as little, the inclusive rate gives you 3 a la cart meals per day which were made primarily from locally sourced produce. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

A beautiful resort, what makes it so special are the staff. They are so genuine and really look after their guests. Every single person we had dealings with was lovely. We had garden villa 3. It was beautiful - immaculately clean, air conditioning for comfort, and an outside day bed and chairs with a separate pavilion with a table and chairs. It was very hot when we were there so we didn't sit outside too often but when we did we enjoyed it. We spent as much time as we could swimming and relaxing. On the rainy days we chilled. watched movies and read books. There is a lovely restaurant where delicious meals were served three times a day. You could have also gone to afternoon tea but we never made it as we were always feeling full from our lunch. We used the complementary catamaran, did a beach picnic, a sunset cruise, enjoyed entertainment on various nights, a singer, fire show with two complimentary drinks and snacks, and a village show, all of which we enjoyed thoroughly. We saw a Dugong, and snorkelled the waters at the front of the hotel. We also enjoyed the pool. We had an excellent couples massage as well. The only reason I am not giving this resort a 5/5 is it is a long way from Port Vila (about 40 mins each way) and the road is shocking. Full of potholes. Drink prices are much the same as Australian prices in a resort so a tad on the expensive side. A tip would be go back to Port Vila on the free shuttle on Day 2 of your holiday, go to the Vila Bottle Shop and buy some beers and wine for your room fridge and enjoy some drinks in your villa so you reduce your costs that way. On that same visit (as you would only want to go once on your holiday) pick up your duty free shopping - there are many duty free shops in town - the goods are collected at the airport, near Gate 1 as you clear customs and then you take them onboard your flight home. One final tip: take your reef walkers for the beach. It is crushed coral so it can be a little hard on soft feet.

If there was ever a paradise on earth then this surely has to be it. The resort is absolutely stunning from its location right on the edge of an aquamarine ocean to the whole ambiance, professional service and friendlyness of every single member of staff. From the minute we stepped off the plane at Port Vila to be greeted with cold towels and water in a luxury air conditioned vehicle by our friendly driver. Our villa was spotless and included every amenity we could wish for - our private infinity pool and cabana complete with day bed. We stayed 11 nights and not once were we presented with the same menu for lunch or dinner. The meals were second to none and we would consider the restaurant to be fine dining complete with white table cloths and superb service with entertainment most nights. We cannot fault this resort and will certainly recommend it and hopefully return one day.

Great hotel with great food and a fantastic ambience. We had lunch and spent some time by the water front. The pool and the landscaping was fabulous. Unfortunately we were not allowed to enjoy any of the water facilities as they are reserved for the residents only.
