Visited and stayed here for a weekend wedding. The staff are very friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. The facilities and site is beautiful. We stayed on the first weekend in July during a heat wave and some intermittent rain, which seemed to have brought a lot of mosquitos. There's also leeches present in the water so do be mindful when going swimming in the lake. The breakfast buffet was very delicious. The rooms have great sound proofing as the cabin next door were up partying late at night and we didn't hear them at all.

We went here for a wedding, followed by drinks and then dinner. The setting is bucolic and beautiful, and the facilities were generally first rate, though more easily accessible washrooms in the main building would have been welcome. The dinner was good, with both salad and dessert first rate. The main course was less successful: My steak was well done and rather tough. Roast beef would have been better. My wife liked her chicken. We did not stay at the resort, having booked a hotel in nearby Huntsville. Trying to find my way back to our car in the twilight was a bit of an adventure. All in all, however, an enjoyable experience.

Upon first view, this place seems quite nice however under the facade is a dump. The hot tub was disgusting. It looked like human soup. The pool was equally as dirty. My friend possibly got food poisoning and nobody would take accountability for it insisting that all their ingredients were fresh. Obviously they know nothing about cross contamination or the fact that an employee might have been unclean. My friend and I ate the exact same things all day except for 2 items at dinner. She was violently Ill all evening into the morning and even missed breakfast as she was still being sick. There was no apology, no attempt to make amends just denial of anything almost to the point where we felt they were calling us liars. I have travelled all over the world and never experienced a place that wouldn’t even apologize for something being unsatisfactory. In addition the place is advertised as adult only and there was a group of families with kids and babies who yelled and screamed and ran around upsetting multiple guests during mealtimes. We know that one couple was put in a private area so they could have a romantic evening instead of shouting and screaming brats. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about their customers.

This place is absolutely beautiful! The Chalet we stayed in was awesome! Super clean warm and tidy. Joe was fantastic! The food he prepared and the service was phenomenal! Our table the first night was set up next to a beautiful fireplace and my girls were floored. We enjoyed snowshoeing and the outdoor winter fire. My wife and daughters enjoyed some time at the Spa. Trinity was great! We are definitely going back, to be honest I didn't want to leave.

Nice quiet place to get away from the city, catch your breath and recharge. The people are friendly, the facilities are good. We enjoyed the various fireplaces and the outdoor sauna. Really appreciated that when friends visited with us unexpectedly they were welcomed to share a meal with us in the restaurant. All in all a great weekend.

Well the property was beautiful and well maintained. Trails need some work in regards to signage and removal of branches. Our cabin was clean and decorated beautifully window and doors are dated and wouldn't close properly including bathroom. Back door sealed shut and back deck u usable. Dinner meals which were overpriced were horrible. One would expect quality when paying that amount. Breakfast was buffet and well done with alot of choices. No satellite on TV just dad's available in lobby. Unable to access phone service with bell mobile. No wifi. Matenance staff very helpful room was spotless.
