well after reading all the fabulous reviews on here i thought we had found a little gem. This was a last minute booking after holidaying in st vincent and the grenadines and then barbados as our flight was put back by a day from POS we thought this would be the ideal central place to stay to explore Trinidad. i always go by positive reviews on Tripadviser as i also give my honest opinion on here. we arrived late at night and for information there is not a kettle in the room to make a cuppa when you arrive. The receptionist did not enlighten us to the fact that we could have made one upstairs either which would have been welcomed after a long flight and then taxi journey. The room was fine with everything we needed (apart from a kettle) Breakfast was not included in the price which i should have checked when booking. we asked at reception for a map to go out for a walk, no maps, and no one seemed to know of anywhere local to go apart from a shopping mall. i definitely would not call this a central location !! the following morning check out was at 12. as our pick up was not until 1.30 pm we asked if we could sit in the dining area for the 1 and half hours. not once in this time were we spoken to, offered a drink or acknowledged in any way. After reading other reviews i would not like to think that family were to treat me like this. if you are considering coming to trinidad whether it be 2 days or 2 weeks i would recommend paying a bit extra for somewhere more central with breakfast included, somewhere you can sit outside on a terrace and somewhere more friendly and helpful. Raddison and wyatt Trinidad were definitely closer to downtown. we however did have a nice view of a wall from our window. On a positive note they did arrange a taxi for us. Laketha was lovely and very informative. The taxi cost $50 usd

Trinidad always feel like home and Culture Crossroads Inn is always my Home Away From Home. The entire staff is like family. Upon arrival, it's feel like a family reunion. If you're looking for a grocery store, gym and mall, you'll only have to walk a block. CCI is safe and secure.

This is my second stay at the Culture Crossroads and I can say with certainty that I will NEVER stay elsewhere while in Trinidad. This place is not simply a place to lay your head, but a place to meet the family you never knew you had. This is a family run business by Colin and the Lucas family. They are the absolute salt of the earth!! Honestly, I think I was more excited about seeing them than Carnival. The place is immaculate and extremely safe. The doors are always locked and there is always someone there to help you with whatever you need. The breakfast is local food, so you get to experience the culture and not the traditional continental breakfast that some of the other hotels give. If you’re even second guessing whether to book; DON’T hesitate! Book now!! I promise that you will not regret it. The location is perfect! There’s a mall that’s literally one block away and it’s close to everything. Everything at this place is done with love and you can feel it from check-in to check-out. You are not simply a guest at the Culture Crossroads, you are family!! Can’t wait to go back in a few months and for Carnival 2026!! Seyi

Great family hotel. The proprietor, Colin Lucas, is a renowned former ska singer and twice drove me to a restaurant and then picked me up afterwards. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the room was clean, and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever.

From the efficient and empathic approach of Aneka in the booking procedure to the refreshing and good humoured airport pickup driver Laketha (best driver in POS!) and the helpful and frienldy landlord Colin, not to forget the rest of the accomodating staff, my travel mate and me had a great time. Rooms are clean, spacious and well-equipped with modern, fancy bathroom designs. The commonroom upstairs is perfect to take a breather after a long day. Colin's suggestions for tours were impeccable. It can get loud at night by passig cars though, but let's face it, we are in Trinidad, the capital of carneval and parties! Thank you all!

My recent stay at the Inn post-Carnival was truly revitalising, leaving me ready to tackle the many days ahead with renewed energy. Colin, the gracious owner, and his attentive staff ensured a memorable experience before I left to return to the UK. The hospitality extended surpassed all expectations, and the breakfast alone made the stay worth every penny. Highly recommend! The inn was recommended through word of mouth, which should tell you a lot. Don't miss out, when in Trinidad, visit and there is a spa just across the road too!

Highly recommended place for a very reasonable price. The owner and his family are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They really took their time helping and advising us. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well thought out and there's also a lounge with free coffee and tea.
