Port Macquarie Hotel is located right in the middle of town and provides basic accommodation and good food downstairs. I found the bed comfortable and the ensuite clean and functional. There’s no tea making facilities but nice coffee is available downstairs. Recommend as a basic, reasonably priced, accommodation!

Stayed one night in a single room (not shared with other people). The room was on the small side but spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. An air conditioner would have helped as the fan was not quite enough to cool the room down. Ozzie Pozzie is about a fifteen to twenty minute walk to the centre of town (depends on your walking speed). It is set in beautiful gardens with bright, colourful eating and leisure areas. Would definitely suit young travellers.

Fantastic Motel,,, Very clean , and comfortable. Huge room ,Recliner chair, 2 seater lounge chair and 4 seater table,, Comfortable Bed and Big Bathroom. Huge supply of Tea, Coffee and Sugar, (Unlike other Motels we have stayed at) People at Front Reception are great. Walking distance to Main Entrance to Base Hospital. Travelling back home we picked this motel for a one night stopover. Slowly but surely the new owners are renovating the motel and their efforts are being rewarded. Nice to see a few outdoor chairs and pot plants, a special smoking spot and well established parking areas. The room was clean, everything we wanted provided for, bed firm and we had a good sleep. Whilst we are not regular visitors to Port Macquarie, we would recommend this motel if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room at a very reasonable price.

Really a lovely place to stay. The owners are genuinely friendly, and hands on to the point where you’ll feel safe and looked after. Having suffered in too many Detol filled, small & smelly cabins while traveling with pets…this little motel is a breath of fresh air! Lots of thoughtful touches in the bathroom and kitchen. Yes… its clean! Very close to Port Macquarie shopping and CBD.

The hotel location is good, the facilities are complete, clean and tidy, and the rooms are large. Google Maps seems to be set too inaccurately. The navigation suddenly ran to a barren place. Fortunately, I finally found it. Departing from Sydney, it was late, and it was already midnight. We greeted the front desk in advance and said that we would arrive later. The front desk said that it was okay to leave the room door unlocked and put the keys on the table in the store. When I went to the room, the door was locked, and I went to find the front desk staff (not the person who answered my phone during the day was a Chinese man). He was already asleep. When I woke him up, he was very upset and scolded him to find The key, even said, ”This is not China, we do not accept overnight stays, and leave before 10 am”. My fellow citizens, we should feel lucky to meet Chinese people in other countries. Foreigners respect us Chinese people, but Chinese people bully Chinese people instead. Then go to Macquarie, Australia to bypass this shop. The feeling of being insulted by foreign Chinese is really uncomfortable.

The center of the city is beautiful, walking distance to the sea, shopping malls, shopping streets, restaurants. The scenery and facilities are great! Even if the weather didn't catch up haha, Da Laoyuan flew over from Tianjin and thought that he could see the sunny summer. After that, the city would be full of smoke from the mountains.

We stayed for a weekend in a studio unit. Unit was very clean and comfortable bed - everything we needed. Whilst a concert in Port was cancelled due mini cyclone we still had a great weekend. The park coped very well cleaning up damage from storm and were fantastic with communication. Great to be able to walk everywhere. I left some clothing in the unit which staff happily posted back to me. Many thanks - we will back.
