Port Macquarie Rental Village

We rang to enquire about an overnight stay as we were passing through Port Macquarie for a powered or ensuite site for our caravan. The pictures online looked great. We were informed that an ensuite site was available, and as we are Big 4 members booking via the Big 4 site would provide a discount. We booked and arrived late in the afternoon. The site was on grass and very muddy. The ensuite was old but clean. In the morning we tried to have a hot shower only to discover that the hot water wasn’t connected to the ensuite. We were able to contact the emergency number and when they arrived, they provided a key for the main bathroom. Both main bathrooms had a strong sewage smell due to the septic. The tiles were falling off the shower cubicle and a ceiling light was hanging by its wires and very unsafe. The general maintenance was sadly lacking. We asked for a partial refund via the park office but are yet to hear back to se if it has been approved. We also contacted the company that oversees the park and no response.

We enjoyed our time at this small, well kept caravan park. The ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful. Our pet friendly studio cabin was clean and spacious which was really appreciated. We would definitely stay again.

Cabin was a little outdated but was still clean tidy and comfortable . Enjoyed our stay and the area as a whole. We made a slight error in the booking of the cabin for pets, and Jill ,the woman i spoke too , helped us out to correct it . Will definitely rebook in the future .

A little old, clean, shower bad, water taps noisy. Otherwise great stay

We chose this park because it was excellent value. The position suited us being a little bit out of town and the service on entry was excellent. The park is a bit older than some but it would have to be the best maintained park we have been to. We chose an ensuite site because the prices were so good.

TERRIBLE customer service. They made a mistake with booking, and by the time I realised, they refused to fix the problem. When i requested to speak to the Manager to compromise on a solution, they refused. In hindsight, it was a blessing in disguise, as recent reviews since I made the booking have been terrible also. Found a much nicer place to stay, in better location, for same price!
