I had a wonderful experience at the port gavern hotel today, very friendly staff. I was served by Harry and April, extremely attentive. I would definitely recommend coming for food, it was lovely! Not to mention the amazing views, couldn’t get a better spot.

Such a lovely stay again! The room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of maintenance issues (broken door lock and some drainage issues in bathroom) but they were addressed quickly. The food (dinner and breakfast was excellent) is lovely and the location is perfect. I love being able to pop out to the harbour with my tea in the morning! Thanks PGH.

Super family birthday lunch today, very pleased to be able to revisit after the winter closing and refurb, such warm and friendly staff, special shout out to Pou, Steph and Phillip! Looking forward to the summer and more visits to this lovely spot in Port Gaverne!

An excellent family lunch, in what is a lovely location. We were made to feel very welcome by a really friendly team and were extremely well looked after by Jasmine and her colleagues. We would thoroughly recommend it, and will be back very soon.

Had a really nice light bite at this place. Avocado and feta on sourdough. Arrived with lovely side salad and crisps. Beautifully presented. Service was great albeit a little slow, new staff in training. Definitely go back when next in area.

After being totally disappointed by the service and menu at Pilchards, we opted for the restaurant at this hotel instead. Oysters and fish and chips to die for!! The oysters were huge and garnished well and the haddock was beautiful with a lovely light batter. Accompanied by really well cooked chips and a delicious curried tartare sauce and peas. Definitely a must if you are passing or staying in the area.

I went with my wife to have a look at the pub which had recently been refurbished. The service and food were both excellent and the newly refurbished pub looked great. We'll definitely be back and look to stay next time. The location of the site is faqbulous and so close to the beach and coastal path

We stayed in Port Gaverne in Venus cottage which was right beside the Port Gaverne Hotel/pub. We were really lucky as the weekend we left the pub was closing for a refurb. We found the food drink and atmosphere was great and all the staff friendly especially a young woman from New Zealand who we unfortunately didn’t get her name. This all made our stay extra special.
