Best stay👌! Only 1 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Great location! Great and so friendly owner who was interested in our further trip, full of advice and tips. Very clean rooms. We would for sure with no doubt book here again whenever in Port Douglas.

This is a very old hotel in Douglas. The hardware facilities are good, parking is free, and the price is not cheap. The main problem is that there is no access control and security, and the public areas are too dark.

The environment is good between the town's commercial center and the beach. Parking is right at the door of the room. It is very convenient. The management staff is very hospitable. There are microwaves, refrigerators, tableware, etc. in the room. There is a public area with barbecue and a small The decoration of the swimming pool and the room is just the simple type that is typical of B&Bs, except that the quilt is not covered with a quilt cover but a layer of sheets. It is easy to come into direct contact with the repeatedly used quilt or blanket when sleeping, so I used a portable four-piece disposable bed set .

The hotel is in a very central location, on the edge of the city center street, very quiet, but close to the beach, not a 5 minute walk away to enjoy a reclining beach or a beach walk and watch the sunrise. In addition to the master bed, there is also a small room with a single bed, which is suitable for families. There is a microwave oven, a kitchen sink and cute tableware, which can be used for simple cooking. Large-scale cooking must be in the public kitchen. It's a little inconvenient. Although it is not cleaned every day, the cleanliness of the room is not bad. All in all, it's worth recommending.

A last-minute stay WOW WOW everything from the kitchen to paytv, pool, BBQ pantry. GORGEOUS Palm Spring decor & easy walk beach shops. Great open plan with queen bed to share & couch . Would haVe stayed longer , a great surprise to add joy & delight. Highly recommended superb xx

Great location with friendly staff and a unique retro motel vibe. We especially loved the original mural art work all over the walls and bedrooms, done by a local artist. Lovely big room and a great entertaining area near the pool for families. Will definitely come back!

Family-run business which ensures personal service beyond the norm. High quality bedding/pillows etc. Brilliant undercover outdoor cooking facilities beside the pool with barbecue and separate gas oven/hob. All utensils & cutlery/crockery etc provided. So quiet yet only 100 metres from main street.

The retro rooms are very quaint and comfortable. Location is excellent with a short walk to both McCrossan Street and Four mile Beach. The staff are very accomodating and we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Port Douglas.

We were able to park adjacent to the room, under cover. The rooms were clean and the bed linen was fresh and clean. The bathroom was clean, but the amenities, such as, tissues, toiletries, were sub par, but adequate. The kitchenette had a large fridge/freezer. Toaster and kettle, cutlery, etc. were adequate. Also a microwave. Location was perfect! Short walk to Macrossan St. Would book a stay here again. Very cute motel.

So glad we stayed here - what a gem! We've driven past a few times and I've always wanted to stay here - so retro. We stayed in room 20 - it was lovely and bright with a brilliant yellow sofa! Loved the look! The fan and aircon were on when we entered - which was great as it was a super hot day when we arrived. The bed was comfy and they had a blanket in the cupboard. Quite a big fridge for a two person room and it had a working freezer! Bonus! Bright and cheerful continues on with the plates and utensils. I also used the pool while my partner watched the footy nearby - it was clean and enough deck chairs. There is also an awesome entertainment area there with facilities for a bbq etc. Awesome location - quiet and peaceful and the lady at reception was super friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
