It was comfortable and close enough to town and the beach. But if you are one who likes to sleep with windows or sliding doors open, forget it - you can hear your neighbours easily as well as the traffic given its location on the main road.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. MANAGER AMANDA FRASER IS THE LOCAL TOWN BIKE AND DOESNT KNOW THE FIRST THING ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. SITS ON ITS ASS ALL DAY WATCHING TV AND BEING RUDE TO PEOPLE. IT NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM PORT DOUGLAS. ITS NOT A LOCAL SO DOESNT CARE. PULLS FACES AND ROLLS HER EYES WHEN SHE THINKS SHES NOT BEING NOTICED. VERY DUMB. VERY RUDE. VERY LAZY.

I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were so clean and comfortable and Ian was exceptionally friendly. When I return to Sands after my day at the conference, it feels like I am returning home. I am not sure if I will return to Port Douglas again, but if I do, you will definitely be my first choice of accommodation.

Quite dated but has everything, very clean, spacious, bedding and pillows very comfortable and very white. Loved the supply of towels aa well as beach towels.

The apartment was clean and modern had everything that I could possibly need away from Home. Value for money!! Hotel management was 10 /10.Will be be back for sure
