Hoposa Cultural Boutique

We stayed here in a balcony room again for a week in June 2025, this being our 4th visit to the Cultural. We have even booked again for next year! We always book directly with Hoposa, but this year didn’t get a welcome drink? Central location right on the square. Some nice, happy noise of people chatting and children playing from the Square; you feel very central here. Bedrooms are lovely - definitely 4 star with comfy beds. Check-in at the Diana Hotel is easy, nothing to worry about. The Cultural has a lovely bar/restaurant, but no reception. Breakfast is served to your table and the whole experience takes 45 minutes to an hour. We don’t mind as we are on holiday; the staff are lovely and work very hard, but the table-service on the terrace means they have to run back and forth to the kitchen/bar in the heat a lot, and this can slow things down - just bear this in mind if you are in a hurry. If you had mobility issues, this hotel may not be suitable as the lift is not accessible late at night (when the ground floor closes) and you need to use a side entrance with stairs. Overall, it is a great hotel at a fair price point for the resort when compared to other four star hotels, and we are looking forward to returning again.

We booked here for one night as the hotel we were staying in for the rest of the week was unavailable, the mistake we made was moving. Check in and check out is a bit painful as it’s not done there but that’s minor, fine spacious room and good food, super staff.

What a lovely boutique hotel. Excellent rooms and food with a brilliant team of staff who are polite and helpful. It was also very easy to check in at the Daina Reception . The room was surprisingly large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with no noise issue at all, given its location. We were in room 112 which has a lovely balcony overlooking the Square. The bed was super king size and very comfortable too. The breakfasts are amazing. Great choice and it’s lovely to sit outside on the square. I have a severe sesame allergy and felt confident scanning the QR code and checking for the sesame allergen symbol. I also explained to the waitress and she understood and ensured that what I ate was safe. We stayed for three nights and it was brilliant. It was also my birthday and they left a bottle of Primitivo Brut in our room and beautiful fruit and chocolate platter. How thoughtful and kind! We had a lovely evening meal on the last night. I had the chicken skewers and my husband had the salmon tagliatelle. Both are quality meals and good portion sizes at a good price. We will definitely dine there again. We have already recommended Cultural Boutique to our family and friends … and we will return. I am not a regular contributor to Trip Advisor. I’m more a reader of reviews but I really felt I should make an effort on this occasion.

We had a well equipped room (fridge, kettle, hairdryer, toiletries, choice of pillows and duvets) and a good breakfast on the terrace thanks to some pleasant, unexpectedly warm October weather. The hotel is centrally located, less than 100 metres from the seafront and shops and a short walk from the bus station. It’s part of the Hoposa group (one of our favourites - we’ve stayed at this hotel and others in the group several times) and a real bargain.

Lovely hotel , great staff , great location. We would definitely go back . The rooms were also lovely. The breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of choice. At the corner of the main square with a short walk to the beach.
