The Zafiro Tropic in June 2025. I'm a big fan of the Zafiro Hotels. Just knowing they exist makes me happy. Having stayed at three different ones in Mallorca, I now know I'm going to have a good time when I'm there. Focusing on Zafiro Tropic 🩷 The best things: 1. Excellent facilities - Four great outdoor pools with a choice of depths, including one with the big inflatable cushion for the kids and an over 18s only pool for the adults. There's also a well stocked bar by the main pool. We managed to get loungers ok but they fill up with the towel markers... Two restaurant choices, one a la carte which is included in All Inclusive for a night or two depending how long the stay; and one buffet. The a la carte was a real treat with great service and lovely food. At the buffet there was lots of choice every day. My highlight as mum, cava rosa for breakfast, the kids highlight, churros/pancakes/doughnuts and chocolate sauce for breakfast 🙈, my husband actually enjoyed all the healthy juices etc. Dinner there was always varied too. It was a well set up and run buffet I felt. The Spa is lovely. My 9 year old daughter and I had our nails painted together. There's an indoor pool and sauna which we sadly didn't get round to using. The gym is sweet. It's perfectly adequate for a gentle holiday workout equipped with typical gym machines and weights. The rooms are really nice. This year we had a royal terrace room which was very spacious and located above the restaurant with a rooftop garden view. It felt private and unique. Previously we've stayed in the penthouse type room with the upper floor. I think if a view is important go for this over the royal terrace. 2. Staff and service - The staff work really hard. Some of them are always there! From check in to check out we were treated like VIPs. We were unhappy about something in our room and they moved us to a new room the next day. If we asked for help with anything it was no problem. They all seem to speak lots of languages! I didn't catch everyone's name, but in case Zafiro actually read these reviews, Miguel, Saray and Lobo, who ran the a la carte, were great, they all were. Ricardo was so lovely too ❤️ I found myself looking for him on the days he wasn't working as he was very attentive and worked hard to make sure everyone was happy. 3. Location - Alcúdia is a holiday town with lots of restaurants on the beach and a range of really cool shops and really tacky shops. I love both. It's so chilled, the beach is beautiful and the port is pretty. All of this is a short walk from the Zafiro hotel. The old town part of Alcúdia is beautiful too. There was a market one day which was busy yet fun. We had a hire car but I think it is also walking distance. 4. Entertainment - The hotel run a kids club. My daughter enjoyed the evening events that ran inside when the show for the grown ups was on the outside stage. There was fun throughout the day too but my kids didn't join in with that. The e
