Zafiro Palace Alcudia

3rd Year in a row, and didn’t disappoint again. Easily the best hotel in Alcudia. From the greeting walking in the door until you leave, the staff are different class. The boys at the pool bar recognise us every year and even though always very busy, always very welcoming and chatty. The all inclusive option is excellent, from every option possible for breakfast, the lunch options are 5* and the restaurants are on another level. The location right by the port and marina is another game changer with the beach also a 5 minute walk away. We’ve been on a lot of really good holidays over the years but when you choose the same hotel 3 years running and don’t fancy a change, then it’s clear it’s got something special. What an amazing hotel for families! We travelled with 3&6 year old. It’s geared towards families I would not recommend if you’re travelling without kids. It is chaotic and busy at all times, which is fine if you’re with kids but if I had travelled here before kids I would have hated it. There is a constant chorus of screaming crying and tantrums which in the buffet was really overstimulating! But I won’t mark the hotel down for this as this is out of their control but people should bear this in mind when booking. There is a small adults only area. The service was brilliant, staff could not do enough for us. They were really good with the kids. The hotel did enforce and stop people reserving loungers which was absolutely amazing. We never had an issue getting a lounger and the lifeguards actively cleared beds which had been reserved and not used for over 40mins. A child vomitted in the pool and unfortunately the parents didn’t tell anyone which resulted in the issue being reported later by another parent so the pool had to be closed and cleaned. I was impressed with how seriously they took infection prevention. The room was clean and spacious and had all the amenities. The housekeeping service was superb and our room was always spotless. The a la carte restaurants were really good! Unfortunately we couldn’t get bookings for the Italian but the sushi and Mediterranean ones were superb. The buffet breakfast and evening meal was good but it was let down by the chaos for us. The location was great a very short walk to supermarkets and the port for lots of great restaurants.

Really enjoyed 5 nights at the Zafiro Palace Alcudia recently. Stayed in a lovely room with a private pool - room was spacious and well equipped. Travelled with my 3 yr old and another family with a 2 yr old who stayed in a separate room. Grounds were beautiful, lots of choice at the buffet restaurant where we mostly ate, (plus also had a helpfully located playground). Good drinks selection on all inclusive. Nice amphitheatre for evening entertainment. Lots of choice of pools. Loads of other facilities we didn’t get to try out… like a spa, gym etc. Staff were plentiful and incredibly helpful and nice. Really stood out from other places we’ve stayed!

Absolutely loving this hotel. Can’t fault it. Accommodation is great, spacious two bedroom apartment. We asked to be moved due to my husband’s limited mobility and nothing was too much trouble. We haven’t struggled at all to find a sun lounger and the food has been great. Breakfast at 10:15 is a little busy but then it’s our choice to come down at the end of service. The staff are superb and are making our stay such a pleasure. I think this is the nicest family hotel we’ve stayed in.

Wanted a few days in the sun and picked this hotel. It's clearly a family-orientated hotel - my mistake booking without sufficient research and during school holidays. There's an adults only area which was above the family pools and there was never a problem getting a bed to lie on. Removed enough (just) from the hubub around the family areas to relax without disturbance. The room was spacious and comfortable. Food was OK - buffet service restaurant was a little busy at times but not to the point that it became chaotic. Good selection and variety of food although probably not ideal for someone who seeks a vegetarian diet. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times but Melany and Adres at the restaurant who were always ready with a greeting and smile, Andei in the bar and Samuel in Reception all deserve a special mention.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Zafiro Palace Alcudia. For the price we paid, we expected much higher standards. The rooms were not properly cleaned, and overall cleanliness was far below what a five-star hotel should deliver. On top of that, the quality of the food was very poor – bland, repetitive, and nowhere near the standard you would expect for such an expensive resort. The whole experience simply did not match the value of money we spent. Definitely not a place we would return to or recommend.
