One of the nicer hotels in Port blair. The lobby is very wide and minimalist. Staff took some time to process the check in, need to take photo of our passports and the visa page.
The room is spacious, air conditioner was very powerful, bathroom was large enough too.
The hotel is walking distance to the clock tower and the Cellular jail. Food wise, the breakfast is served at the top floor and there is an average selection of Indian food items. On one day, we asked them to pack breakfast as we had an early start. They only gave us jam sandwich and some biscuits, it was bad.

Stayed in J Hotel for more then a months and this is an appreciation, for the mentioned staffs for their remarkable service at J hotel Starting from Reservations; Mr. Latif thanks for your cooperation during our bookings and extended bookings Front office desk & Housekeeping : Mr. Morison,Miss. Dolly, Rehan, Monika, Vimal,Soni,Mukti thanks to your commendable service related to arranging our B/Fs, room making, cleanings, etc., Lastly Restaurant & Kitchen: Hugh thanks to Mr. Yousuf and his team ( Badsha, Asihul, chef: Mofisul, Gani) for making and providing great and tasty food everyday in lunch and dinner. Also thanks for not repeating the same food everyday….

One of the excellent hotel. Staff are of good behavior and helpful. Restaurants provide best taste of town. Mr.neel ,kitchen captain is a *** of kitchen talent with polite behaviour. Recommend to meal at j hotel. Thank you Mr.neel

Good decent hotel in the middle of city near cellular jail. We came to this hotel because the airline arranged for it after our flight got canceled. We had a comfortable stay. Overall good experience. Good decent hotel Near British era clock tower.

Hotel is very good. Only issue in food maintenance like filling the dishes back were very late at the time of breakfast and dinner, we need to inform the team to fill the food but still there is some delay. Also they are filling one dishe at a time, it was very acward to ask again and again.

Had a great experience in our 2 day stay, although issues with WiFi but clean environment, good choice for your future travel to port Blair. Even hotel has its own rooftop restaurant with great food taste. Resturant captain Monit Roy is such a great guy and a great singer, if anyone can provide him opportunity to excel , please help
