We had a fantastic stay at Dockside Guest House. The hosts were welcoming and provided clear instructions before our arrival. They even warmed up the house for us, which was a thoughtful gesture, especially since it was very cold and rainy when we arrived. The property is perfectly situated, offering a peaceful environment with a beautiful view of the river, yet conveniently close to amenities. Despite the rainy weather, we enjoyed the undercover braai area. The house was spotless throughout, and having a helper provided was a great convenience. We appreciated the fast Wi-Fi, smart TV, and the fully equipped kitchen. The Nespresso machine and thoughtful extras like coffee and water in the upstairs room were a lovely touch. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. Overall, it was great value for a short stay.

The host, Pat, made us cut our stay short. She was utterly disrespectful and rude to us. We had issues with the water it was so cold, we reported the matter to her. She couldn't even come by herself to speak with us, kept on sending the cleaning friendly lady to being the middle person. She claimed that she was sick(Pat) but she was roaming around the place. We eventually couldn't take it and requested for a refund and left. Otherwise the stay would have been perfect as the house is really beautiful

The views from the guest House are just amazing. The host was very welcoming and the staff very friendly. The beds are comfortable and we got the much needed rest from the trip. No better place. Thanx
