Hostal Louro

I don't understand the ratings this site has. The beds have mattresses that look like they are 50 years old, very uncomfortable. It was impossible to get any sleep all night. It was better to sleep on the floor. The mattresses creaked even when breathing. We complained to reception about this problem since the idea was to go to another hotel since it was impossible to get any sleep. Reception CONFIRMED that they would refund us for the nights we had not used and so we made the decision to go to another hotel but later when the official cancellation process was made through the supplier they suddenly said that they would not refund us anything, failing to keep their word, and making us have to assume a double payment at the hotel when the decision to go to another hotel was made based on the fact that the refund was confirmed to us. Justifying that the reservation was non-refundable and some other lies (this was already known before they confirmed the refund to us, so if there was a problem they should not have confirmed anything to us). It seems that the word of these people is worthless. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to ANYONE. Besides being awful, there are no honest people in charge.

Kleines, aber dennoch feines Hotel. Ausstattung ist Standart, alles sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Für eine Nacht (auf dem Jakobsweg) eine tolle Unterkunft. Frühstück, alles wurde frisch an den Tisch gebracht, kein Buffet und das Abendessen als 3 Gang war auch gut. Was will man mehr!

Céntrico. La habitacion individual, limpia, cuarto de baño grande limpio. Perfecto para 1 noche. Los empleados fueron muy amables, atención cercana. Tienen zona cafeteria/bar. Wifi gratis. Buena conexion desde la habitación. Cumplió con las expectativas.

Nos alojamos en este hotel porque el puente de diciembre en Vigo estaba todo llenísimo y solo quedaban disponibles opciones de alojamiento carísimas…. Como teníamos coche, no nos importaba movernos, aunque al final está a casi media hora del centro de Vigo. Se trata de una pensión de peregrinos que lo lleva una señora muy maja. La habitación era muy básica pero limpia y cómoda; el baño estaba reformado y bastante bien. La verdad es que es un hotel sencillo pero suficiente para dormir….
