Rose Bank B&B

I stayed two nights at Rosebank to attend a wedding in Porlock. Sue made me feel very welcome. I was in the single room which was clean and cosy with a comfortable bed and an efficient ensuite shower. After a restful night's sleep, I really enjoyed the full English breakfast to set me up for the day. Thank you, Sue!

Thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay at Rosebank Guest House. Charming hosts, very acceptable dual aspect room, breakfasts to suit all tastes. Ideally situated for walks from Porlock to the surrounding Exmoor countryside. Car parking adjacent to the guest house. Evening meals are available at various establishments within a short walking distance. Thank you, Chris and Sue

Rose Bank Guest House is a lovely old house with some beautiful, antique features including an Art Nouveau fire place in the dinning room and stained glass windows on the stairs. The hosts Chris and Sue are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast which is cooked by Sue and served by Chris is delicious. It is set in Porlock in the beautiful Exmoor National Park and highly recommended. Also, the old Ship Inn and Lower Ship Inn serve some lovely food, ciders and Ales.

We'd love to thank Chris and Sue for our 5 star stay. We were lucky enough to stay in room 7 which has duel aspect coastal views, a brilliant shower and a super comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing, piping hot plates and locally sourced first class ingredients cooked to perfection. Hospitality and service was to the highest standards and the B&B is spotlessly clean in all areas. We can't wait for our next stay at The Rosebank, thank you so much. See you soon. Andy and Sue.

Great guest house, lovely friendly welcoming owners the rooms are spotless and lovely breakfasts. The location is set in the heart of Porlock ideal base for walking Exmoor National Park, plenty of places to eat locally. Would highly recommend.

We have just spent another 5 nights at this "gem" of a guest house in the heart of Porlock. The standard achieved by Chris and Sue is 5Star and they work perfectly as a team! Spotlessly clean room , great breakfast, and wonderful friendly hosts! Thanks again .....see you again in April next year

This guest house is in a great location convenient for food, shops and buses. It is clean and with the secondary glassing, nicely quiet. Chris and Sue offer a warm and friendly service and are attentive to peoples needs. Overall value for money.

We have just stayed at Rosebank for four nights. The owners Chris and Sue were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. We have mobility problems and despite being on a steep hill, they willingly carried our luggage up and down the stairs and up and down to the car. The room was spotless and although rather small, it was most comfortable.The breakfasts were delicious and set us up well for the day. It is in a lovely victorian house in the centre of Porlock and we would willingly stay there again. Anne & John and our dog Teddy.

We have stayed here three times now. This is the first time under new ownership and they have made a fantastic job of it. Great hosts , clean an tidy rooms, and "hearty" breakfasts that keep you going for the day! Well worth a visit . 5 stars!! Already rebooked
