Valamar Collection Marea Suites

Tremendous hotel, service, food, drink, kids amenities made for a great family holiday. The staff were very helpful especially Goran in the bar and Thea in the kids club which was really good for my 4 year old and 9 year old. Fabulous pools and daily free bubbly hour 4:30-5:30 was brilliant.

Absolutely fabulous holiday ! From accommodation, sightseeing to hotel staff, everything perfect ! Concierge experience was wow, children were especially happy with staff. If you visit you have to go to see the dolphins. Food was delicious and you can go to other restaurants, not only in your hotel and it is included in price.

We have just returned from a great stay at Marea Suites. I am going to write all of the things I would have loved to have known in detail before coming (it’s all good - I just think it’s massively helpful to know in advance of coming or if you’re in two minds about booking!) - The rooms are so set up for kids - we had suite for 2+2 with the sliding doors to kids room. Kids were 4 and 6 and were buzzing with the room. Maro bedsheets, t-shirts, flip flops and robes - Beach towels and beach bag plus robes, slippers and flip flops for the adults too in room - Room was bigger than I expected, we had a ground floor room with a terrace and little garden area that went straight out to the pool which was handy - All toiletries are supplied (including toothbrushes and toothpaste for all) - Rooms cleaned every morning while out and they also return to put chocolates on pillows whilst you are out at dinner - Reception area - lovely and airy and bright. Light wall and softplay to entertain kids at any time. Free soft drinks at all times in lobby bar and welcome drinks provided upon arrival - Kids club - this was a highlight. There are two rooms…one upstairs for younger kids (up to 7) and one next to restaurant for 7-12. BUT they are not strict about ages and whichever room the parents and children feel comfortable going in is fine. This was amazing as the kids could choose - also it’s open 9-9 and you don’t have to book just come and go as you please. Kids did multiple stints in a day and knew they could just ask the staff to call when ready to leave. The staff in here are brilliant the kids really took to them which is so important. They actually said they had farewell gifts for the children in their last night but we never made it back to get them! The thought was lovely though. - Pools - slides are good fun for all and perfect for the general age of the children in the hotel (which seems to be circa under 10). Main pool is lovely and keeps kids entertained. We also enjoyed a swim in the infinity pool at the beach bar whilst having some drinks with a lovely view - Restaurant - breakfast and dinner both good, wide selection, different foods to try. Prosecco available at breakfast which is a nice touch if you like it. Thursday was a menu choice instead of buffet for starter and main which we didn’t know about. If you are a fussy eater this may be an issue, although the kids buffet was out. Some other reviews mentioned perhaps having a bit more plain stuff for kids which I agree with but mainly because ours are fussy! Smoothies and juices are really good. - Another highlight - bubble hour!! Every day 4.30-5.30 the restaurant opens with a few light snacks, ice cream and Prosecco. You can actually take these out and enjoy around the pool or in your room and this was amazing - We rented bikes 2 days and rode to Porec in 5 minutes. Really easy to rent (and free) and good bikes. Bear in mind it’s only open between 9-11 to collect bikes though. - Other

Sunny and great sea close to the hotel, best view from the rooms. Beautiful pink sunsets. Very friendly staff, comfortable, clean rooms, a lot eclectic (family) program and great food. Furthermore, a lot fun activities around the hotel (tennis, Dolphins, aquarium, amusement park with house of horror, bouncing castle in the sea, SUP, and other sport activities). Great for younger kids. Gaming hall for all

We have really enjoyed our stay in Valamar Marea Suites. Our room was lovely and it was always super clean. The food was fantastic. Great variety of food and a lot of fish and sea food. We definitely enjoyed our time swimming either in the sea or in the hotel pools. You can book sunbeds by the sea for free. There are also lots of sunbeds by the pools. We always had a place to rest and relax. Very nice staff, especially in Beat Beach Bar. Boys are always nice, the service is quick. We spent there whole days. During the day we had drinks and snacks by the sea, in the evenings we came to concerts of acoustic music. I can imagine ourselves to come back next year. We have already been to Valamar hotels and this one was the best.

It was a great vacation, everything was perfect! We enjoyed the Maro-shows very much and the beautiful beach. It was plenty of things to do, but still a very calm atmosphere- We really loved the fact that even though it was a lot going on, it was totally calm and stress free. The staff was super-We loved the kind and pro vibe of Dario in the restaurant - absolutely delightful! And Marko, the guy prepering the fish and meet, had such a lovely aperance. Give them both a pay rise to keep them Valamar.
