I stayed here with my 14 yr old daughter for 11 nights in the school holidays. We booked through TUI and the half board breakfast no lunch was appealing. The checkin in procedure was good and our room on the 4th floor was ready. There was a safe in the wardrobe and a fridge in the room. We always take a multi plug adaptor lead so had no problems with the amount of plugs in the room. Hairdryer was the type on the wall in the Bathroom, not very powerful The decor is a little tired but it was kept clean by an efficient housekeeping service. Large balcony with drying rack There is a pool table, table tennis and football table in the bar area. All free to use. Food - breakfast, lots of selection, but only 2 coffee machines for whole restaurant so there was always a queue so I resorted to the urn of prepared coffee Lunch - open until 2pm and lots of hot options, did find lots of the hot food was too salty but this may just be my taste Pool - great for families, but too shallow for my serious swimming Very comfortable sun beds and lots of parasols and shade Bar service from 1200hrs, staff are very polite and efficient Beach - down some steps and it is a rocky coastline, beautiful and clear with lots of places to sunbathe and swim. You do have to pay for all the beach/ grass sun beds / parasols €6 each item - at the bottom of the stairs in the hotel all the guests who have going home leave their lilos and other beach items which are there to be enjoyed by the other guests and was very handy when laying by the sea. Porec - took 15 minute to walk slowly long the coast path to the town, there are bike taxis and the tourist train if you don’t want to walk A lovely town with loads of eating, drinking and shopping options. The selection of ice creams is amazing and only €2 for a large scoop We ate out every night and all the meals were good. There are very few people from the UK in the hotel and the resort, but everyone spoke adequate English to be understood The water park is worth a day out, but book tickets online as it saves some time when you arrive. Was still a 30 minute wait to get in though. It says that you can’t take your own food, but families were taking cool boxes in without a problem so I would recommend asking the hotel for a pack up to take with you. We also caught the bus from Porec to Rovinj for the day, total was about €28 and we really enjoyed our time there Thank you Rubin Sunny for the great holiday
