Lovely well equipped room with absolutely everything you could possibly want, really well thought out. Restaurant and pub superb range of drinks and food, staff all friendly and efficient. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had and served personally by the chef. Will be back for sure!

Great service all the staff are really helpful, lovely room the room is always full of amenities, really good food. If your going and trying the new revised menu make sure you have the squid its delicious, great selections of beers and wine. Excellent breakfast the place has become like a second home after visiting every month this year. Canford is my go to place for business travel in Dorset and Bournemouth area.

Great vibe and quirky rooms, we really enjoyed staying at The Canford. It was a flying visit as we had tickets to see something at Poole Lighthouse and would've liked to have stayed longer. Really friendly and accommodating staff, food was lovely too!

Lovely room and decor, but distinctly average service, food and pub. Not worth the price. No staff around when you need them, when trying to order, check out or ask for anything. Forgetful staff and basic food items just not available. Communal corridors run down, and stale.

Just as nice as last time we stayed. Staff very welcoming. Food excellent. Lovely location. Rooms very comfortable warm and cosy Nice bathroom products towels soft and fluffy Not so keen on dogs being in the dining room when people were eating but otherwise all good

Very comfortable room, large shower, and easy to set, quiet airconditioning. We particularly appreciated the many thoughtful touches, from a large flask of water to the lovely toiletries and even a pillow spray! The food in the bar/restaurant was also very good.

I live locally and pop in for breakfast every couple of weeks. The dining room has a lovely light atmosphere, and their breakfasts are great, from full English to avocado and poached eggs, using locally sourced ingredients. Friendly staff too
