Very friendly service

We stayed in the lillyput suite during our stay at the candford… it was worth every penny. Such a delightful room and the facilities were fantastic. Will definitely be staying again

We booked The Canford for my birthday weekend along with 8 friends and are so happy that we did. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were so well looked after by the whole team. Everyone’s check in was seamless, all needs were taken care of with care and kindness. We had room 1 (Sandbanks) which was beautiful with everything you could possibly need supplied, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom huge, we really felt at home. I think all 10 of us were impressed with all our rooms. I wanted to pre-order sharing plates and magnums of wine (which were really good quality wines) for our Tiki Hut reservation on the Saturday evening and Zach and the chefs took care of everything. I have to say the food was wonderful, the pork belly tacos were a hit with everyone, but all the food was super delicious – thank you. My husband and friends decorated the hut which was no problem and when I arrived, having been banned from peeking , everything was in place and looked gorgeous. We had the best time the whole weekend and I think we all agreed that The Canford is definitely a place we would love to come back to. Zach and the whole team are so well trained, polite, helpful, kind and courteous, a real credit to hotel. I can’t thank you all enough for making my 60th birthday so perfectly memorable. My husband and I came here for our mini moon and had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our room was beautiful - lovely decor, fantastic facilities (iron, mini bar, tea & coffee machine), a very comfy bed and blackout curtains made for a very comfortable sleep. The location in Canford Cliffs is brilliant - it’s 5 minute walk down to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on this coast and also a 2 minute walk into the town. The breakfast is delicious - you can order a hot breakfast off the menu as well as tucking into the breakfast table with delicious pastries, yoghurts, granola etc. We ate breakfast each morning in the beautiful conservatory which was such a lovely start to the day. The staff are so friendly and attentive - special mention for Daniele who seated us for breakfast and was always helpful and welcoming. The outdoor seating area is the perfect place to sit back and relax in the sun with a spritz in hand underneath the pine trees. We had the most amazing week and miss it already - we can’t wait to come back next Summer!

I stayed here for a night (mid-week) on a business trip.. The pub has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the team were friendly and efficient throughout my stay. The room was clean, well-equipped, and quiet - ideal for getting some work done and getting a good night’s sleep. Fantastic breakfast and evening meal. Look forward to my next stay.

We visited for lunch yesterday, food was really tasty with plenty of choice. The barman recommended a delicious wine to me, he was so lovely, very friendly and welcoming. The garden of the pub is great, it was warm enough to sit outside despite being November. We would definitely visit again
