Hotel room stunk of mould as soon as you opened the door with what looked like mould spores on the floor we had our two year old daughter with us. The cleaners must have known about the smell as the window was wide open when we got there. Reception staff were lovely and managed to move us to a room that wasn’t much better but didn’t smell of mould. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Premier Inn (Holes Bay) was very good. Room clean and quiet. Comfortable bed and ameneties. No complaints at all about Premier Inn. The Holes Bay, Table Table restaraunt next to Premier Inn was a different matter. Would not recommend it.

Having stayed at this Premier Inn on a number of occasions in 2022 we were happy to book and stay again for two nights with breakfast , we arrived at 2.40pm aware that check in was from 3pm. First impressions from the appearance of the outside did not inspire us , the Hotel from the outside appears very run down and needs attention. We were advised by reception that our room would not be available for 3pm and it may be quite sometime before a room would be available so we attended the bar . The bar / restaurant was filthy and in desperate need of a good clean. We returned to reception at 4pm to be told they had a room available for us . Upon entering our room we were very unhappy with the cleanliness of the room and state of the paintwork , cobwebs were numerous around the ceiling and paintwork was cracked in numerous places in the room and bathroom revealing bare wood. We decided to eat out at a local restaurant in town. When we returned to our room we were unable to get to sleep due to a very noisy room above us where the occupants were stamping around like a herd of elephants. We endured a very restless night. Breakfast was poor, the restaurant was unclean with food left on the table and underneath it, there was no orange fruit juice, the tropical fruit juice ern was empty , the cooked breakfast was poor , beans were cold , mushrooms were not cooked . Overall we were very disappointed . We decided to check out and forfeit our second night and breakfast . This Inn requires a lot of work to bring it up to an acceptable standard . It requires painting inside and outside, it requires a thorough cleaning . One plus point was the staff who were generally polite and friendly . Sadly We will not be returning !!

No one at check in then 10 mins later a lady came along and she was very abrupt. Poor woman was rushed off her feet. No air conditioning room was so hot. Food at the restuarant took ages to arrive and when it did it was cold. 5 staff chatting and the tables needed clearing and left one girl serving on the bar. Only consolation was the rooms were very clean, well done to cleaning staff.

So hotel room fine, in need of a paint job though. The breakfast though in their adjoining pub was alwful, bake beans cold, no dinner plates let alone warmed plates, overcooked dry hash browns, no orange juice, filthy tables. Looking at the state of it and being unable to get a drink the previous evening as the bar shut at 10pm! I assume they are short staffed

Stayed for a couple of nights just after Easter. The room itself was good enough but the bed had a mound in the middle. Explained to staff, who said that the zipper hadn't been pulled up and they would sort it. It never was. They had a look, as they left all of the bedding untucked. The restaurant was poor!! One toilet was shut, whilst the other had a blocked urinal full of urine. It was blocked for the two nights we stayed and it stank. Had to wait nearly an hour for our main course. I ordered an undressed salad, only for it to be smothered in dressing. When I told the waitress, I was told " it's only Vinaigrette". Breakfast was poor and cold. No sweetener for hot drinks on both days we were there. Was told I could always complain by the waiter. It's a shame as the hotel is in a good position for a base and is easily accessible. I myself won't be going back.

Family room was too hot for 4 people in a small space. Advised to leave the ground floor window open for the whole stay and turn off heating. Room was still 21 degrees. No one slept. Outside temp was 11 degrees at best. Premier inn refused a goodnight guarantee as this hotel doesn’t have air con. No idea where the heat was coming from?

Well another great stay at a Premier Inn. This time at Poole Central. Many thanks to Natalia and Sam for making us feel welcome and for their continued help, laughter and support whilst we were there. Food this time supplied by Table Table and all good there. See you next time.

Very large hotel within walking distance of town centre on the edge of Poole. Next to a dual-carriageway, so best to ask for a back room if a light sleeper.( NB. we never managed to get a reply despite ringing five times!) Comfortable room with a sizable bath, and hot water, even at arrival time of 10.30PM. Helpful staff on arrival, and in the morning. Good midweek rate of £73 so we booked this and drove the forty miles rather than stay at the two in Weymouth, (where we were at a concert) which were at the ludicrous prices £175 and £125.
