The QR code check-in system did not work so we had a long wait at check-in. Natalia was delightful under pressure. The room was awful. The sofa had been removed to leave a huge gap and one armchair for 2 people. Cobwebs on the lights. Coffee stains on the wall. Dust everywhere. Not hoovered. Black mould around the windows. Bed not made properly. A piece of tampon wrapping on the floor. Filthy windows. Table legs peeling plastic. No phone. No WiFi code. No table. Smeary toilet seat. Filthy carpet. The bathroom fan made noises in a vent in the bedroom sound like an aeroplane taking off. We had to tosh a ceiling tile up in the ceiling and turn it off. I’m 5’8” and struggled to reach it. Only one room key. The machine was broken. What a disappointment! It’s been a long time since we stayed in a Premiere Inn and this will be the last. It’s not cheap. And it’s definitely it worth it.

I have stayed here a few time simply for convenience/area but hotel is seriously needing refurbishment. Reception staff lovely. Room was not ready at 3 pm so had to wait (only another 30 mins) but when we got in room the skirting boards and carpet was filthy and you certainly wouldn't want to walk barefoot in the room. Paint peeling everywhere and temperature was too warm for me, although we opened the window a few inches and a fan was provided but not ideal as temperature control on wall did not work. Bathroom smelt so bad of urine I went to a nearby Asda and bought some bleach spray and cleaned the surrounding floor and walls myself and it smelt fine afterwards. Food was running out at breakfast. We did go at a busy time but surely even more reason to check on what has run out and keep it stocked. Would stay again due to visiting family in area but would take my own cleaning products next time

I like Premier inns, generally you know what you’re getting. However this one has got me fuming! Firstly I’m not sure why, but I’ve noticed lately rooms are always set with the temperature at minimum. Arrived on a reasonably nice day and the window was wide open and the temperature set at 17. The room was like a fridge. Frankly it’s a good job we generally only sleep in the room, as I wouldn’t want to spend time in it! My wife has mobility issues, so we book accessible rooms. In a number of Premier Inns we’ve stayed in we’ve been lucky and found them positioned in a quiet area. At Holes Bay we got the second room in on the ground floor, whilst my wife appreciated not having to walk far, it put us right by the entrance door. My wife is a heavy sleeper, due to medication. I however am not and it meant every single time someone came in late (2:30am) or the inevitable trades people started leaving (4am onwards) the door banged as they left, so much for the old ‘a good nights sleep or your money back’ motto. I work in building maintenance, I understand the need for fire door closures, but this set made my room vibrate. The staff were very welcoming, on arrival for the first time my wife was asked if her need for an accessible room would cause issues in the event of an emergency. When we asked about booking for an evening meal, another staff member did warn us that due to a staff shortage caused by a trip to hospital, there would be probable delays to service. The staff have salvaged this from being a three frankly!

Lovely clean room, comfortable bed. A little noisy as it was close to an industrial estate. No decaf drink options a only 1 coffee and 2 tea bags in the room. Good shower but within the bath, not on its own. Staff friendly and helpful, very nice restaurant.

Have stayed here in the past as very convenient for the port but something has gone very awry. The amount of equipment out of order was staggering. The check in system. The vending machine for drinks. The toilets in the public area by the bar. No beer on draft. Food options unavailable due to broken kitchen equipment. By comparison the Premier Inn we stayed in a week before was the Hilton. An overwhelming sense, rightly or wrongly, of an establishment being deliberately run down. For refurbishment? To close it? The room: fine. Lacks USB sockets as other PIs have. Staff polite and friendly enough but the amount of apologies they had to make must be morale crushing.

Had a friendly welcome Friday at Reception by the nice lady who booked us in, room was clean and the bed very comfortable and we were able to make a hot drink, we did the meal deal which worked for us. The hotel had plenty of parking and security cameras, it was convenient for Poole, thank you 👍

Dirty room. There were Cobwebs above the bed, bits left under bed. Wet carpet in places by bedside. Food all dried up unappealing. Breakfast felt very rushed. Location nice and handy for lots of places. Parking good. WiFi worked well. Usually I have never found fault with a premier inn until this visit
