Not up to the usual Premier Inn standards, unfortunately the bathroom was looking its age with slightly corroded pipework and rust showing on the towel rail. Breakfast was disappointing with very tough bacon and slightly undercooked sausages.

+ mattress was as expected very comfortable. + room decor tired but clean - bathroom was very poor - mould, water damage - rooms not available from 3pm (advised staff shortage) - reception toilet - door handle hanging off on one screw and very dirty - breakfast hot food fill-up struggling to keep up with quantity of guests (hotel was full at over 200 rooms of couples, groups and families) - overall hotel is very tired and not enough staff to clean the rooms or run the restaurant. Note: no air conditioning. Room thermostat disconnected / disabled. Room fan provided but not adequate for the whole room

The Hotel was well located for access to Poole with an easy order button to call a taxi which we used a few times with a taxi arriving each time within 10mins. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Being in the middle of a Heatwave the bedrooms were very hot in the absence of air-conditioning with fans provided not being able to cool the rooms down enough for us to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast options were good although there was a wait for topping up the breakfast standard items and if breakfasting later in the session some of the food was cold. The bar area is a bit tired and needs a bit of a refresh

On check in the receptionist was very Friendly and efficient. We had two rooms both were spotless. Yes it was very hot as previous visitors have said but there were two large fans in the room. We didn't have an evening meal there but the breakfast was of a good choice and replenished several times .

Tired and in need of a complete refurbishment. Check-in from 3.00. Some people still waiting at 4.30 for their rooms to be ready. If check-in desk not manned - tough! The two check-in machines not working. Fancy a cold drink - tough! The drinks vending machine not working. Part of lift control held up with gaffer tape. View from your bedroom - not good but would be easier if the years of grime (first picture) had been cleaned off the glass! (I tried to clean part of the window with a white vinegar spray, but was not able to remove all the grime) Hot night - tough! No air-con, only a noisy fan. Looking at other reviews it seems that air-con removed because it was falling off the walls. Mind you, the air-con control is still on the wall! Everywhere decor looked tired. If you are on the first floor and have an even number you will look out on the car showrooms. If your window is open at night, expect to be woken at 6.30 by a convoy of Transits from the nearby Amazon depot going by under your window. Food passable but some items off the menu because there was only one chef. The general malaise seems to be from lack of staff.

Very disappointing trip. Room was not ready and childrens beds not made up despite arriving after 6.30pm. Tried to book into resultant to be told it was fully booked and the lady would not budge on trying to find us a table or even food in our room if we waited. She was actually rude. Asked for help with local area to find food, no help at all told to look on the internet and Google. Nothing local to walk to. 6.5 hours in the car to get to the ferry port with two young children, I felt this level of unhelpfulness was uncalled for and very disappointing. Would not book again.

The room was extremely hot and airless and although the hotel had provided a fan, because the window didn't open more than 6ins, it was impossible to sleep. The whole hotel was a bit grubby and needed completely refurbishing.

Having read the recent reviews, we were very apprehensive about our stay. Upon arrival we were greeted in a pleasant manner at reception by Cheryl.and check in was quite easy. Our room was on the first floor near the doors to the stairs and was very clean and tidy with towels and clean pillows. The bed was ok, but obviously well used and a bit lumpy but we slept well. Overall the hotel was really what we expected from a Premier Inn as we use them a lot. It does , however, need a thorough makeover/ Refurbishment as it’s so tired looking, am sure Premier Inn could do better. The staff at breakfast were really helpful and friendly, Carole, was our waitress, really good. The staff are trying hard to give their best and should be appreciated for that both by the customers and particularly management. It is a very busy hotel serving the area around Poole, and this should be considered when reviewing, after all it is a BUDGET hotel priced accordingly.
