Terrible service … receptionist was very rude and commented that our children were not worth 50 francs .. called the police for a matter not involved and charged 75 francs instead of the 50 for an extra child .. at the end the police ended up agreeing with our family, but we had already payed the bill.

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful town! We were blessed with a top floor room with windows opening to the beautiful hillside! The entire staff is friendly and helpful and everything is spotless. The breakfast was excellent, quite the assortment of foods. Three days here were the highlight of our trip to Switzerland.

What an underrated and fabulous hotel, their staff, mgmt, service and comfort can not be faulted! This is a clear 4.5 star hotel and nothing less, however their service exceeds five stars. It's an extremely neat, clean, new and comfortable hotel and in the centre, easy to walk and their team, absolutely fabulous in every possible way! I am coming back, with the family!

This is an amazing hotel. From the Manager, Regin, to housekeeping. Susan gave fantastic recommendations. This hotel is very clean, located within easy walking distance to local attractions. The train to St. Moritz is a 10 minute walk. The town of Pontresina is a beautiful location. Allegra is the best way to see it! Karen Erhard

Excellent location in the middle of town. Steep climb from the train station; ask hotel to pick you up (or take bus to Pontresina Post). Beautiful room, well equipped, beautifully cleaned. Excellent reception staff (thank you, Daniela and her boss). Wonderful and very generous breakfast buffet included.

We stayed for 2 nights while traveling from Tirano on the Bernina express. The hotel was clean, very comfortable and had great amenities including a beautiful spa. An added advantage was the free Engadin card. The reception staff and manager were always available to assist with dinner reservations and information. The breakfast was the best during our travel in Italy and Switzerland. I can recommend Hotel Allegra without hesitation.

From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I felt very much at home. Regina, the hotel manager, greeted me warmly and spent lots of time answering my questions about hikes, restaurants, visits to nearby points of interest, etc. The room was spacious, immaculately clean and light and airy, with almost floor to ceiling windows. The breakfast is excellent with many choices and a room looking at the mountain range. As I had been traveling for a few weeks, I was pleased that the hotel offers a guest laundry area if one prefers to use that instead of the normal hotel laundry service. But most importantly, the hotel staff team are professional, friendly and eager to provide a special experience for each guest. In addition to Regina, I would say special thanks to Annalisa at Reception, Martin at the Breakfast Room and Alex at Housekeeping. I highly recommend Hotel Allegra!

Nice big rooms, great breakfast, wonderful and very helpful staff. Directly connected to the hot baths (inside and outside pools). Possible to park on private hotel spaces for a very good price. We will certainly come back!
