Dit hotel is echt een enorme afrader! Bij het inchecken aan de balie werd ons verteld dat we de auto op de parkeerplaats gezet kon worden, waar camerabewaking aanwezig was. Naar ons idee leek de camera niet veel van de parkeerplaats te zien, dus we parkeerde maar zo dicht mogelijk bij het hotel. We hadden al gelezen in de reviews dat er wel eens een ruit wordt ingeslagen… Toen we naar onze kamer wilde gaan, realiseerde we ons dat we onze ID-kaarten niet terug hadden gekregen: ze was ons vergeten te vertellen dat ze die nog nodig had en we over 5 minuten konden terugkomen. Op onze kamer aangekomen stonk het naar vieze geurstokjes, keken we uit via het raam over een hal en was de badkamer, en met name de douche, te vies voor woorden. Dat het hotel en de kamers nodig aan renovatie toe zijn is wel duidelijk, maar dat er achterstallig onderhoud is vonden wij echt niet kunnen. Achter het toilet zat een gat in de muur, de kitnaden in en buiten de douche zijn bruin, voegen zijn geschimmeld en de douchekop zat onder de bruine aanslag (zie foto’s). We gingen hiermee naar de receptie, om een andere kamer te vragen. Er werd totaal niet empathisch gereageerd op onze klacht en een andere kamer was niet mogelijk. Zij vond het ook niet vies, dat heeft ze ons heel duidelijk gemaakt. Er kon wel een schoonmaakster gestuurd worden, hier hebben we 10 minuten op gewacht de volgende dag, en uiteindelijk besloten we maar te gaan. Toen kwamen we iemand van de schoonmaak tegen die 0,0 Engels sprak. Wij begrepen haar niet, het leek alsnog ze het over de handdoeken had, en zij ons niet. Totaal niet handig als het de bedoeling is dat we aangeven wat gepoetst moet worden. Bij het ontbijt spreekt het personeel ook geen Engels. Ze pakken de vertaler erbij als je iets wil vragen en als je iets gezegd wordt, toen we wilde gaan zitten om te eten, hoop je maar dat je op de goede plek gaat zitten. Dezelfde avond kregen we een nieuwe kamer aangewezen. De badkamer was beter, maar de douche nog steeds bruin (zie foto’s). Het uitzicht was ook iets beter en gaf ons een inkijkje in de renovatieplannen (zie foto’s). Ook niet echt wat je wil zien als je in het hotel naar buiten kijkt. Verder is de informatievoorziening op de website, over de private beach, erg misleidend. Er wordt gesproken over toegang tot de private beach, maar niet dat je daar een premium gast voor moet zijn die extra betaald. Ter plekke extra betalen of een dagticket krijgen, is niet mogelijk. Maar aan de andere kant: óók op de private beach spreken ze geen Engels en wordt je in het Italiaanse, zonder enige lach op het gezicht, aangesproken. In dit hotel heb je sterk het gevoel dat de Italiaanse gasten voor gaan. Wij wilde zo ver weg mogelijk van dit hotel onze vakantie besteden. Het hotel ligt in een afgelegen gebied, met veel leegstand, afval, weinig tot geen toerisme en totaal geen gezellige sfeer. Wij komen hier nóóit meer terug en we raden iedereen af hiernaar toe te gaan.
