Excellent hotel, in the calmer part of Madeira. Ideal location as starting point for different hikes. The hotel restaurant has great food to offer and the staff and the owners are very friendly. Spacious apartments with a swimming pool and parking space available. We will definitely return here. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay.

We had an excellent stay at the Casa da Capelinha. The hosts, Maria and Carlos, are such fine people. We felt really welcome during our stay and they did everything to make sure we (and all other guests) had a good time. The appartment is in the small town Ponta Deldaga. The appartment has a perfect view on the sea. During the nights we heard the waves which was very relaxing for us. The appartment complex is well taken care of. Everything was clean and kept clean during our stay. The swimming pool was also clean and had a very nice temperature. Every day Carlos was working on cleaning the pool. They have a small restaurant. The food was good and well prepared. We ate there every evening. We can recommend Case da Capelinha if you are looking for a fine place to stay on the beautifull island Madeira.

Charming and spotless, this lovely hotel looks out at the ocean. Our apartment, with it’s full kitchen and living area had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The rooms, though basic, were well furnished, and comfortable. Loads of storage space, and tons of light. Our small balcony overlooked the pool, and beyond that we could see the chapel, the cliffs, and the water. The view is magnificent! We took full advantage of the restaurant, and ended our days on the patio chatting with the other guests and enjoying really delicious food. The staff are absolutely lovely, and the owners are fantastic. They’re friendly, thoughtful, fun, and very willing to accommodate all the guests needs. We also took advantage of the pool (it was too pretty to pass up, even in April) and it was fabulous. The town was also very enjoyable. Small enough to walk, and large enough to provide all the essentials. Many hikes nearby, as well. We spent only a few days, but would have been happy to stay longer. Casa Capelinha makes a great home base for exploring, as well as a wonderful place to sit back and relax amidst the gorgeous scenery.

Das Casa da Capelinha liegt etwas oberhalb in einer ruhigen Gegend und ist besonders für Wanderer geeignet. Ein paar Parkplätze sind vorhanden, ansonsten kann man der Straße entlang parken. Wir hatten ein sehr sauberes, geräumiges Apartment mit großer Terrasse. Der Wohnbereich ist recht neu und die Küchenzeile gut ausgestattet. Das Cerankochfeld verfügt über zwei Platten. Eine Mikrowelle, ein Toaster, ein Wasserkocher, eine Kaffeemaschine, Geschirr und Besteck sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Den Pool haben wir täglich genutzt. Neben dem Pool befindet sich ein Bistro-Restaurant und die Rezeption. Das Bistro hat sonntags geschlossen. Die Besitzer und die Angestellten waren alle sehr freundlich. Der Fernseher hat 12 Programme, allerdings nur portugiesische. Die Matratzen waren uns zu hart und durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit roch alles etwas sporig. Das Badezimmer mit Badewanne ist schon etwas älter. Die Fugen sind schon sehr vergilbt und ein paar Wandhaken für die Handtücher wären nützlich. Die zwei schmalen Handtuchhalter reichen nicht aus. Apropos Handtücher: Die sind luftgetrocknet und dementsprechend hart. Leider gab es im September nicht nur viele Moskitos, sondern auch beißwütige Kriebelmücken. Tagsüber wurden wir an der Unterkunft von den Kriebelmücken geplagt und abends von den Moskitos.

une pure merveille !!!! ce fut notre meilleur logement durant notre séjour à Madère où nous avons testé plusieurs Airbnb. Maria et son mari sont tout simplement adorables. l'appartement était ultra propre et tout à fait adapté pour une famille de 4 personnes . equipement de qualité !! nos enfants 12 et 9 ans ont dormis très confortablement dans le canapé lit. la literie de la chambre parentale était très bien aussi. nous avons qu'un seul regret .... celui de ne pas avoir passé tout notre séjour ici !! nous reviendrons !! donc sans aucune hésitation allez y les yeux fermés, que ce soit pour tout votre séjour ou pour une étape sur la côte nord. leur restaurant pour le soir est très bon et correct en prix. Maria Carlos un immense merci !!

Wunderschön und ideal gelegen für einen Wanderurlaub im zentralen Norden der Insel. Sehr ruhig oberhalb des Meeres mit Blick auf die steilen Felsen von Ponta Delgada, welche im Sonnenuntergang rot glühen. Wir hatten ein kleines Studio mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, großer Kühlschrank. Sehr sauberer glasklarer Pool. Absolut Top Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Am schönsten war die familiäre Atmosphäre mit den sehr netten Gastgebern! Abends ist das Restaurant geöffnet, es wird frisch gekocht, alles sehr lecker besonders der Fisch. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß bei einem kühlen Bier auf der Terrasse. Für den nächsten Wandertrip nach Madeira werde ich die Casa sofort wieder buchen. Danke für die schöne Zeit von Vater und Sohn aus Dresden.

Nous y avons passé 2 nuits: c'etait superbe! Vue sur mer, appartement spacieux, très propre,piscine pour se détendre et possibilité de dîner sur place. Maria, la propriétaire est adorable, disponible, aux petits soins pour vous. C'était top. Bien situé pour rayonner sur l'île.

Nous avons passé 10 jours à Madère. Nous avons séjourné dans 4 établissements différents. Ainsi nous avons pu faire le tour de l'ile. Je conseille se mode de visite. Casa Da Capelinha était le 1er ou nous avons séjourné : 3 nuits dans une chambre appart suffisamment équipé pour cuisiner. Literie très bien. Bien situé pour rayonner dans le nord de l'ile. Une petite épicerie pas loin, on peut y aller à pied, mais y a du dénivelé (comme partout dans l'ile d'ailleurs)
