A very convenient comfortable stay on our start to the Camino walk. Restaurants epic across the road and Alex was so organized and friendly. Great breakfast too would recommend this hostal to anyone. Location perfect right near all the attractions

I stayed at Hostal Nirvana for one night while walking the Camino de Santiago. It's a bit out of the way, what with it being about a 10-minute walk from the sights and restaurants. Room 302 was spacious and the bed super comfy. The attached bathroom was nice as well. Wifi worked well throughout the building. My only problem is that the A/C doesn't really cool down the room much. That day was a scorcher with 36 degrees, so it would have been great for the A/C to run properly. But even though I blasted at maximum capacity, the room never got cooler than 25.1 degrees. Breakfast is 5 euro and well worth it if you're walking the Camino.

Ideal for warmer weather but very comfortable room
Good location 5 mins from bus station and centre. Arrived early, someone kindly dealt with me (very cold day). Room etc fine apart from poor (ducted)heating system that you had to leave on (the fan) all the time but which made little difference.

Bien situado para conocer Ponferrada. Habitación muy cómoda y muy limpia. Para nada parece un hostal. La atención de la recepcionista fue excelente. Guardan mochilas antes del check-in (14:00). Recomendable 100% para peregrinos y visitantes de la ciudad.

Hicimos noche en este Hostal para ir a conocer las Medulas que se encuentran a unos 25 min de allí. El hostal estaba muy limpio y nos encontramos muy bien. La atención del responsable de la cafetería que nos dió el desayuno fue maravillosa , muy agradable y atento, y el desayuno de 10 , riquísimo y sano !

Precio , calidad bueno. Recepción 24h , personal muy amable y siempre dispuesto para solucionar cualquier duda. No hay mucho para visitar en la zona. Está muy bien situado puedes ir andado a todas partes , zonas de interés . Justo frente hay un restaurante con carne a la brasa lo recomiendo todo muy rico.

Estupendo, limpio, silencioso y cómodo. La zona no me ha gustado mucho. A pesar de estar a 5min del centro y 10 del castillo, las calles son un poco ... Solitarias. No hay bares ni comercios. Si no desayunas allí (que vale 6€) solo puedes desayunar en la churrería Sánchez donde no son especialmente simpáticos, pero bueno.... Volvería y lo recomendaría.

El hostal y la habitación estaban muy limpios, además las habitaciones eran silenciosas, luminosas y espaciosas. El desayuno (6€) formado por fruta, bollería o tostadas, y café/tes era abundante. Y tanto la atención de la recepcionista como de la camarera han sido agradables. Hay aparcamiento abundante a 5 minutos del hostal.
