The hotel itself is gorgeous, but our stay was made absolutely perfect by the attentiveness and warmth from Tina. She personally showed us to our suite, gave us a tour of the room, and even helped carry up our dinner when I got takeaway from a local restaurant! The balcony view was absolutely breathtaking. As for the location, you go outside the hotel and it’s a short walk to the ruins of Pompeii. I’d definitely go again!

Restaurant experience was awful. Man with guitar interrupts our lunch to sing loudly. I would've preferred to eat in peace, but he goes to every table and forcibly tries to involve guests and get them to sing along. Afterwards, he goes to every table and demands tips. I give him a couple of coins, which he throws in my face and rudely shouts something in Italian. Please leave guests to eat in peace, and don't force a musical performance / expensive tips. I never consented to any of this.

I visited in April 2023 I went to stay there with my schoo. The food and the rooms were good. It was a receptionist for me. When me and my classmates went back to our hotel rooms, we were chatting and he shushed us. He complained to my teachers about us visiting our friends rooms. There were loud Italian kids staying there too. I once saw them drop something down and it landed near the front desk. He did NOTHING to them. Even my teachers didn’t like him that much.

Food was mediocre at best, only two of the 4 options we were supposed to get were offered, the salad we were promised never arrived, we were denied water multiple times, they dropped my friend’s pizza, still served it, then charged her full price for it, the staff was rude and seemed perfectly content to ignore our grievances, and when we brought all this up to the host, we argued for about 5 minutes before he agreed to give each of us a 2 Euro discount and nothing more. What an awful experience. Don’t fall into this tourist trap— It’s terrible.

Absolute sh**thole I would rather spend a night in a fvck!n hostel in the middle of cartel Columbia during gang wars in a children’s cot stay away from this hellhole if you value your life. The staff are rude and horrible and just scream at you. Some of the bunk beds even had duct tape on the legs. I don’t understand how it has a 4 star rating when the rooms are disgusting with dust and bugs. There was even a bug found in the pasta. Never stay here….

This was a very poor experience for a very well-behaved school group. Staff were unhelpful, with the exception of a few waiting staff. The hotel manager was extremely reluctant to turn on the air conditioning even though the bedrooms were stiflingly hot and mosquito screens were in bad condition, coming off the rails and some having holes in them. There was no tea/coffee/bar availability in the evening. No additional water was provided for our pupils unless they wished to pay €4 per litre bottle. We were told they could purchase it at the supermarket. Some of our group had no hot water, for showers either early in the morning or late in the evening. The safes in some of the rooms were unusable, some fridges did not work and fixtures were in poor condition. No kettles were available to make our own tea/coffee even though they were seen in a store cupboard towards the end of our visit. The food deserves its own chapter! Breakfast was extremely basic and not at all adapted for Irish/UK teenagers - no juice, no fruit, no yoghurt, no toast, no eggs and bacon etc! Our pupils did see all of the above set out for other breakfast guests in another breakfast area so future guests should check the breakfast menu before visiting. What is published on the website is very different to the visit! The evening meal was very hit and miss. The pasta course worked pretty well but the "secondo piatto" was usually lukewarm, if not cold. Veal burgers and wet chips, processed potato puree and greasy pork escalopes were particularly memorable evenings, for the wrong reasons! WiFi coverage in the hotel was patchy, to say the least. We also had the experience of the night porter telephoning rooms to complain about pupils making noise at 10/10.30pm when it was not loud at all. As a school group, providing good revenue for this hotel, we were treated like second-class citizens. This hotel needs a complete overhaul of its management and attitude towards paying customers as the location is excellent for visiting Pompeii and Naples.

Just a lovely, quality old school Italian hotel. The breakfast was amazing.. second only to the very attentive waiters. In particular, the gentleman at reception was very kind to us on arrival and popped off to ensure our children had enough water for the night. Wonderful.

Hotel Vittoria We arrived as a school party of 34 for a 3 night stay at Hotel Vittoria. The hotel is in a prime location besides Pompeii however this is where the positives end for this hotel. The rooms: Basic is an understatement. The rooms were either a a double, triple or a quad. However beds were sofa beds and were only appropriate for the shorter human. This theme continued in the bathroom whereby you could not physically fit in the shower they were that small meaning you had to get out of the shower in order to apply shower gel. Also the boiler in the hotel must not work as there was zero hot water. Food: Again the food was basic and predictable. You got what you were given. Fortunately there was a supermarket a 5 minute walk away from the hotel for students to stock up their rooms. Staff: There was two staff members that operated the reception desk. One gentleman during the day that was reasonably placid. However there was a gentleman on through the night who was far from that. The students were quick to give him the nickname ‘Bowser’ after his attitude during the evenings. He would regularly ring up to the teachers rooms, shouting chaos chaos big problem. This was because our students would move between their friends rooms as there were on holiday. As staff we walked the corridors to ensure that students did this quietly to avoid disruptions to other staff members. He showed no empathy to upset students. If he has a problem with students making some noice on an evening then the hotel should not work with school travel agency’s. This man completely ruined the experience in the hotel for his absolute incompetence.

I went there with many young children and the hotel staff were unprofessional. There were hotel waiters that were asking for underage girls snapchat, Instagram, and number, and taking pictures of them from under a balcony. There were ants in a lot of our rooms and the cleaners did not do anything about it. The man at the front desk was shouting at kids for asking for a new room key. It was also cold. I lost some clothes because of the ants and the hotel has still not given me compensation. The cleaners put our wash bags inside the bidet. Would never stay there again.
