Ikos Olivia

Yes it’s expensive and yes it’s becoming even more expensive based on our 2025 price for IKOS Aria but WOW! From the moment your private transfer arrives and you walk through the doors the beautiful experience begins. The smells throughout the hotel are like walking into a spa. Everywhere is spotless, the staff are amazing (ALL OF THEM), any mistakes are dealt with professionally and promptly. It won’t take you long to realise that it’s worth every penny. The food in every restaurant was of the highest quality. It really was like eating in a fine dining establishment 3 times a day. My only complaint is unfortunately with other people who live in an entitled bubble of self importance and lack any manners. I wish the staff would be given the power to “politely” ask people when dining not to stick iPads in front their kids on full volume as it spoils the beautiful ambience. I have kids so know full well how challenging it can be but I cannot believe the amount of people who carry out video calls to friends back home on full volume and let their kids run about without keeping an eye on them. The hotel is for everyone guys not just you and your little “Magnus” or “Magenta” The service we received from poolside was top notch. “Jenny” was sooo helpful and worked so hard. It took several days to get a decent rum and coke though as I kept getting either flat coke or diet. You only get white rum unless you are deluxe. Would be nice to get the Havana 7 and I did ask on several occasions. Beach area was great. Free paddle boarding, pedalo and canoes. The jet ski hire wasn’t cheap but very fast and again, an amazing experience. The activities company at the end of the beach were amazing and recommended the most amazing boat trip we did which was one of the most beautiful experiences we have ever had as a family. Full day Kavourotrypes Beach trip with Lux Sea Cruises was simply heaven. White party on Friday is great fun and cool tunes from the DJ and saxophonist. The buffet and evening bar areas are the most amazing place to chill after your meal and meet friends and let the kids play on the beach. Don’t miss out on your day with the Tesla. We explored some of the campsites with facilities down the Sithonia peninsula and the hotel gave us the most amazing packed lunch with anything we wanted. Wraps, donuts, fruit, wine, water etc. What a great way to explore the area. The buffet was the best we have ever experienced at any hotel. Extremely varied and plentiful. If you can get someone to look after the kids then take advantage of breakfast in the adults only breakfast restaurant which was amazing. Overall it is simply one of the best resorts we have ever experienced so we booked IKOS Aria on Kos for 2025. Price has gone up considerably though! It might still be worth it for unparalleled luxury and gold standard service from amazing staff!

This has to be the benchmark for 'all inclusive'. The meals in the buffet and speciaality restaurants are fantastic. Three a day plus snacks by the pool and even free ice cream. All alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and tea and coffee are included and there is a daily stocked mini bar in the room. The drinks are all branded and not cheap, local stuff. You can even order sparkling wine at breakfast.! The staff without exception are wonderful. Apart from cycle hire and some water sports and some but not all chikd care, all other activities are included. This Ikos hotel is well laid out and flat, Superb gardens and on beach location, ideal for push chairs and old folk. I kmow its not cheap, especially high season but you can literally go all week and spend nowt!Two hints. Go for thr best accommodation yoou can afford (We had a bungalow with a private garden) and look at Jet 2 packages which can be cheaper if travelling with kids. Words cannot properly describe our all too short holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Ikos Olivia. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the food delicious and all the staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. We particularly enjoyed that there were adult spaces in all the restaurants, and although couples were in the minority - it was mainly families with babies and toddlers - we never had any problems. It might have been a different story if we had gone in school holidays, but going outwith school holidays was best for us. We also enjoyed using the adult pool and the life guards were quick to spot any children who couldn't swim and directed them to the other pools. There was never a shortage of sunbeds, so no rush to get one in the morning. The pool attendants were very attentive, and although we could have booked drinks, food etc on the app there was never any need to as they came round so often - even cleaning our sunglasses! There are too many staff to name individually, as they were all so good and I can't remember all their names, but I do remember Dimitri who was in Ouzo, Fresco and the Buffet, Stefanos the Bars Manager and Maria on Guest Services - who were all so kind and helpful. Initially, we were only going to use the a la carte restaurants, but we then discovered that the food in the Buffet was equally delicious. We had a couple of trips out - one to Thessaloniki and one a boat trip to Mount Athos - both were excellent. All in all, an excellent holiday.

We are a three generational family of ‘girls’ - 73, 47, 17 and 10 years - who have just returned from our fourth trip to Ikos. This was an extra special holiday for us and one we weren’t sure would happen. Over two years ago the little one had to undergo chemotherapy so we couldn’t holiday abroad. To give her, and all of us, something to look forward to we offered her the holiday of her choice after chemo if she was able to travel. She chose Ikos Olivia above all else - even Disneyland! That says it all I think. Our holiday was amazing and as ever didn’t disappoint. Everything was perfect - from the room to the food to the absolutely amazing staff. Nothing - and I mean nothing - was too much trouble. The Ikos service is above and beyond any other hotel whether you are deluxe or not. Everyone gets the highest level. It is truly our family’s ‘happy place’. There has to be a special shout out to Leon and the pool team, especially Lazerus, Florian and Petro. We can’t wait to return if our circumstances allow.

We have been coming to Ikos Olivia for the last 10 years & love it as much as we did on our first visit. Having stayed in many hotels around the world we feel Ikos is very special & have perfected the ideal holiday experience. Firstly the staff are just fantastic & go out of their way to help....the choice of restaurants is great ...... & everything in both the hotel & the extensive garden is kept in immaculate condition. We have sent many friends who also continue to return. Congratulations Ikos !!

Ikos resorts are the ultimate luxury experience and Olivia was absolutely amazing. Fabulous ground, staff, rooms and facilities. We particularly enjoyed Ouzo and Fresco, but all other restaurants were also great. The sports facilities were particularly good too with a well equipped gym with outdoor decking. There is an outdoor gym by the beach and a big sports centre with tennis courts, basketball and beach volleyball. The spa was also great and adults only apart from rainy days, which is fair enough. This resort did have a lot of families with very young children at this time of year and there was a busy splash pool which catered for them well. The adult only areas by the quieter pool, at Flavors and on the beach were appreciated and quieter. The beach bar at sunset was beautiful. We were in a garden view quiet balcony room at the back of the resort and it was quiet and peaceful. Had a sneaky walk through the very large deluxe area a few times and that looked fabulous, but our budget doesn’t quite stretch to that 😢. We’ve already booked our next Ikos holiday at a different location as we are now hooked
