There is NO signage by the road to show were the Travellodge is - drove around twice in the dark before seeing it. Then found that the Car Park entrance is used by a Chinese Restaurant and a Workers Rest Stop as well as the Travellodge, which is located at the back of the car park. No staff at front desk, took 10 minutes for somebody to arrive, as the staff member was actually in the car park using a mobile phone. Our room was OK, clean and usable, but it was NOT what we had booked. A DOUBLE bed had been requested in an accessible room. What we got was 2 single beds pushed together, not even Z-linked, that parted immeadiately we sat down. After pushing them back together they parted again several times during the night leading to disturbed sleep. The site was no where near any shops, not even a petrol station on site were you could buy snacks or groceries. The Vending Machine had limited choice and did not take cash, the snacks were hugely over priced. Nowhere to get a hot breakfast. Still it was only a 1 night stay, so survivable.
