Such a lovely place, we stayed in a deluxe apt with rooftop sun beds and jacuzzi bath, there was also a fridge up there. The room was big for a couple and looked brand new in the room and surrounding areas inc pools. The staff were so kind and friendly. The cleaners although only come every 3 days do a brilliant job and nice clean sheets and towels. The area has some local bars and supermarkets and it’s a 20min walk along the prom to the main square and pine walk. The beach at this end seems larger but didn’t use it. Only two wee suggestion one is to have a retractable drying rack on the balcony which would save people hanging towels over the glass balcony. Lastly to supply a dish washing brush and a small bottle of washing up liquid.

Our second trip to Las Velas and this hotel and Puerto Pollensa alike, has quickly become our favourite holiday destination. Cannot fault the hotel, large, clean rooms, lovely grounds and relaxing pools. All staff are lovely, including cleaning staff, however a big shoutout to Xisco who always puts the cherry on top of our stay! Great location, an easy 10 minute stroll into the main areas of the town. Couldn't recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back soon! Thank you Las Velas! ☀️

Fabulous 3 night stay here, arrived very late at night and Xisco on reception couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. Reception area and other communal areas very clean and modern, love the scent as you enter reception. Saw pool and garden areas cleaned every morning and evening. We had originally booked a studio with balcony but upgraded to deluxe gold studio, would recommend these rooms as they are right next to the pool area and very easily accessible throughout the day. Room very clean and modern, had everything we needed, loved the rooftop sun loungers and jacuzzi. Bed was comfy and aircon kept the room a lovely cool temperature all day and night. Reception bar stocked a wide range of drinks, also saw a pool table and other pool/ kids pool round the other side of reception although we didn’t use these areas. Excellent location for getting to port de Pollença or pollenca town. Would definitely stay here again, it is very chilled and relaxing which is just what we wanted! Also worth mentioning I met my parents here, one whom has slight mobility issues and the hotel was very accessible for her. Thank you again to Xisco for being so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Hope to see you again soon!

This was a holiday for me and my son to celebrate his 21st birthday. We arrived late and were very tired but our initial impression of Las Velas was great! Unfortunately our allocated room was not what we were expecting for a mother and son holiday; the deluxe studio was smaller than expected and contained a double bed. We returned to reception to see what could be done and we were told that the problem would be rectified in the morning. We didn't unpack and had a relatively sleepless few hours but visiting reception again everything was sorted out efficiently and kindness. Our new room was perfect! Twin beds, spacious kitchen/lounge area, well equipped, large shower room. We had a balcony with external steps to a large roof terrace with whirlpool bath, deck chairs, fixed table and bench plus a sink and small fridge (excellent for cooling water or beer!!) From then on our holiday was wonderful! The room, communal areas, garden, pools etc were quiet, clean and very well maintained. The whole complex has been thoughtfully and stylishly designed with beautiful grounds and two pools, one at each end. Our room faced the front, so we could hear some road noise when on the balcony and roof terrace but it didn’t affect our enjoyment at all. The whirlpool was a nice addition and we thoroughly enjoyed using it! Sun loungers rather than deck chairs would have been the icing on the cake if we were being picky! The location of Las Velas was ideal for us. It was in a quiet area yet only a short walk to the seafront, restaurants and local supermarkets. A lovely 20/25 minute walk along the sea front takes you to the Pine Walk which is beautiful. We had a fantastic time, really appreciated the change to our initial room and would definitely return in the future as well as recommending Las Velas to those looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings!

We, a couple in our 70s arrived after midnight after being dropped off by our Jet2 coach. The man on reception requested a fee of 41.26euro which I think is for the tourist tax - fair enough but I can’t see how this equates to a seven night stay beginning 26/10? He then showed us to our room. Our accommodation on the ground floor was nice with a lovely terrace with a jacuzzi and table and chairs with a couple of deck chairs overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable with nice bedding but it was very cold. Next day we complained to Aina the receptionist who advised us to turn off the air con. We did this but still cold and very noisy. We would have slept so much better without the cold and the noise. I requested some additional bedding and was provided with another duvet but also some manky blankets which I would not have on the bed. The water in the apartment was however lovely and hot and the shower was good, and when our kettle blew up they quickly replaced it. We also felt the road was too noisy but nothing can be done about that. It would have been great to have a small milk and some water in the fridge as arriving after midnight we were desperate for a cup of tea. On the last day we discovered our key had stopped working and were unable to access our room. As the apartments had closed for the season this was very worrying but was sorted out by a phone call to the nearby Cabot Hotel. The lady we spoke to there informed us we should have left at 11.00 am. I don’t know where we were supposed to go as we were being picked up THERE at 6.00pm. Our towels and bed linenwere changed only once during our stay.

This is a really lovely hotel apartment in a quiet, out the way area. Heaven! There are shops a short walk from the apartments, the beautiful beach, bars and restaurants. It was so quiet an clean! All the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Our room was a deluxe studio. You can’t hear much noise like in others hotels which is great. This was our first time self catering and we’ve loved it. There are 2 pools, they are cold this time of year lol but refreshing on hot days. All the pairs of beds have umbrellas screwed into the floor, so you always have one. This time of year it’s a lot quieter, there have been days we’ve had the pool to ourselves. The beach is beautiful, soft golden sand and crystal clear waters. We will deffo be back! We have really loved our first trip to pureto de Pollensa! The buses are regular and easy to use with tap on tap off. The buses stops are a short distance away. Perfect get away! (Note: If taking a trip into Pollensa to do the 365 Calvari steps, be mindful to stick to tourist areas an keep your belongings safe! My wife had her phone lifted out of her backpack, and I caught him going in for her purse! Got her phone back. Be mindful of pick pockets)

Thanks Xisco for the warm welcome to the accommodation. We stayed for a few days with friends and had a wonderful stay. The apartments were immaculate, comfortable, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The location was very good. Just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. We will definitely stay again and cannot praise the apartments and Xisco enough.

First time at Las Vellas. We had a deluxe one bedroom apartment with roof terrace. This was perfect for us , the terrace was fantastic , really big , the fridge very useful, sunbeds , so we didn’t need to go to the pool, with parasol too which was important in the hot sun. The pools were very quiet no problem with getting a sunbed if yiu love the pool. The apartments are plenty big enough for two, very clean with additional balcony from the dining area. Shower gel and a small cleaning pack with cloth, pan scrub and liquid also very useful. Cleaning once every three days, which wasn’t a problem although would have preferred every two days. Towels changed on cleaning which was fine, you could request new ones at reception , I would have hoped for clean tea towels too but that didn’t happen, so a tip take your own tea towels, we do so were ok. Puerta Pollensa is a beautiful resort with so many lovely bars and restaurants, lovely walks too. We will definitely want to return next year
