Anassa

Another wonderful stay. Our 14th year at Anassa, this time we took our parents who have been married 60 years who loved it as much as we do. As always, a super special welcome from the charming staff, incredible service at Amphora, the pool and the beach. This is a beautiful property that sits perfectly in its environment. Stunning vistas of the bay and beyond are framed by cypress trees that have grown with my children. The smell from the jasmine and rosemary that lines the paths is heavenly. Anassa is not a super modern “style” hotel but the decor, architecture, materials and furnishings have a timeless elegance that’s totally soothing and comfortable. Dinner was amazing as ever at Amphora. Beach and Pelagos lunches were wonderful! When I mentioned to Exectitive Chef David that my favourite dessert wasn’t available, the pastry chef made one and sent it to our table for us all to share. An amazing level of service and care! The spa is an oasis of calm and relaxation, Poppy is lovely and we had super trea**ents with Nelly (glasses). Activity wise my youngest completed her Padi Open Water and she and my son went on an amazing night dive to celebrate. Both my children have learned to dive here, the tuition from Dave and the team is excellent. As a family we had a wonderful boat trip, the kids will long remember snorkelling with their amazing 80 year old grandma! We do go other places on holiday but when we’re planning our year, a week at Anassa is always first on the calender. The number of other returning families that we see every year is growing, which is testament to the fact that Anassa is a pretty unbeatable proposition. A special mention to Dora, Marina, Diamantw, Avram, Tasos, Takis, Imola, Elena (thank you for my new face!), Savas, David (chef), David, Annie and Laura (diving), Danut, Poppy and Nelly. See you all next year!

A fabulous and relaxing break. We spent 6 nights over the Easter weekend and really couldn’t fault it. Room was perfect and service incredible from arrival to reluctant departure. We hired a car which enabled us to explore locally and have some meals in the incredible range of local tavernas. Breakfast was outstanding and we liked Helios more than Basiliko but that is personal taste. Although they are very child friendly, I do think it is quite an adult hotel and I would have appreciated some child free spaces. The genuine service and the quality of the resort makes this definitely a place we will return to.

Have just returned from a magical week of wedding celebrations at Anassa. The resort was quiet elegance , perfect in every way. The setting, accommodations, staff and service are unsurpassed. If you are looking for a peaceful , pampered holiday or an idyllic wedding setting, look no further.

A true Grand Hotel with spectacular Service. Nice Beach, Pool, SPA, top Restaurants. A daily Highlight was the sundowner on the glamorous terrace. The rooms are beautifully furnished, clean, with stunning views. We had a cool Boat Trip that I can recommend and our favorite dish was the Greek Salad at the Pool

I have to leave the most AMAZING review for this place! On our first night I had an uncontrollable nose bleed from past surgery. We called reception who had a doctor at our door in twenty minutes, along with some take out coffees in case we had to go to hospital. I thought this was the most thoughtful touch, what great service! Unfortunately I had to spend three nights in hospital, but the hotel staff made sure my husband and one year old were okay, asking how we all were whenever we saw them. When I arrived back to the hotel, the staff made exceptions so we could eat food from the delicious Basiliko restaurant in our room and ferried me around the hotel in buggies so I didn’t have another nosebleed. They also took care of my prescriptions and had them delivered to our room. Every member of staff asked how I was doing the entire trip. We were so grateful we’d chosen this hotel, as when things went wrong they were there with exceptional personal service. We couldn’t fault the beautiful sea view room and facilities. There were many mosquitos (the month of May is known for it) but they sprayed the entire resort to keep them at bay. The valet staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. This place is so child friendly, they will always make a fuss of your child and even in the formal restaurant Helios you do not feel awkward bringing a child with you. The food was exceptional and always explained to you. All in all I would wholly recommend this special resort as it made a traumatic memory still a beautiful one.

We feel very lucky to have managed to book a room for the Easter long weekend. From start to finish our stay was an absolute pleasure. We opted for a Garden View room as this was less expensive than the Sea View rooms, but we definitely did not feel hard done by. Our balcony was in a very peaceful setting and the room was extremely spacious. Some reviews have mentioned the slightly dated bathroom design. We had no complaints as it was so much larger than bathrooms in many more modern hotels, with both a bath and a shower and a separate toilet, spotless and very smart. The whole hotel has a wonderful sense of peace and spaciousness, with masses of sun loungers both around the beautiful multiple pool areas, in the lovely gardens and on the beach. The staff were universally delightful with a feeling that nothing was too much trouble. (I have to give a particular mention to the valet parking team who repaired a damaged licence plate for us overnight.) Breakfast was exceptional both in terms of choice and quality – particularly over Easter, when the hotel's patisserie team were able to show off their phenomenal creative skills. We also loved the daily sweet treats delivered to our room. My one comment is that the hotel restaurants are expensive for Cyprus. However, as we had a car we were able to make the most of the excellent choice of restaurants locally. I have to applaud the hard work of the hotel management for such a well-run hotel; welcoming and departure letters from the manager were a lovely touch.

Just the best hotel in Cyprus for sure. The location, beach, views, accommodations and restaurants. Very good feeling staying in Anassa. Breakfast also in the area with the best views and amazing choises. Pools are served very well. Would love to come back

Just the best hotel I've had the pleasure staying in of late. Outshines places like the MO in Bangkok, The Berkeley and Soho hotel in London where I have stayed ion the last couple of years. Context. I own a small hotel and am a part owner of a chain of Thai street food restaurants so work in the industry. The food is probably the best thing about the hotel and the head chef is doing a superb job in all areas. Love the Bourbon vanilla cheesecake! Staff were fab, special mention to John, Duty Manager, Diana at reception who was very kind when my son fell ill, and Tenzing at the ground floor bar. And last but not least, congratulations to Mr Wurst, the GM , for overseeing a brilliant operation. Cant wait to return ! Anassa is an absolute treat. From the magnificent views, delightful staff, delicious food, attentive management and great facilities - our stay, albeit too short, was marvelous. Right from the start, all the way to our departure, we were blown away. Living in Dubai, we are spoilt with luxury hotels, and whilst many of them could learn a thing or two from Anassa, none of them will ever benefit from the absolutely unique location that the hotel presents and holds. What an incredible experience!
