Property Description
Built at the foot of the cliffs of Dan Cross, from where you can enjoy a superb panoramic view of the town, the recess, the hills, vineyards and the green plain of Bresse, Poligny is a pretty village which still bears the hallmarks of its historic past, a fortified village dating back to the 10th century. Guided tours of the old town including the apothecary, St Hippolytes church (heritage listed), the Comté House (listed gourmet centre of interest). Many cheese makers will be only too delighted to welcome you to taste their wares, not forgetting the local wine producers! We are also located close to Jurassic caves and the Lake District.
