Polignano a Mare Hotels with Swimming Pools

Booked a terrace suite, it was perfect and great value for money The hotel’s own restaurant is also very good

It’s all about the service, attention to detail and the lovely breakfast spread that my friend and I enjoyed when we stayed for five nights at this bnb. First of all, I felt assured with the parking they offered in the building. Going in and out was easy as both Danny and Vito are almost always in the building going about their business. They’re easily contactable through WhatsApp and their response time is quick. They can also remotely control the garage door. Both of them drove my rental car in and out as I wasn’t too sure how to park it. The room we had was big and clean, and despite not having windows at eye level, the room was comfortable as there was a long window close to the ceiling that let the fresh air in. Location is excellent. It’s only a stones throw away from the sea and Via Roma. Right next door is a grocery. Lastly, these two brothers are just lovely and gracious. I don’t speak Italian but Danny, who’s in charge of breakfast, did his best to communicate with us. I love the way he curtsies after giving us our coffee. So lovely. I would definitely stay here again when I get a chance to visit Polignano.

We are a couple in our mid sixties and are from the States. I am very critical and picky where we stay and don't give glowing reviews freely. This is an amazing property right in the historical center. You are in the middle of everything and it is very easy to walk anyplace that is needed in town. The town is very busy during the day but at night you feel very local and it is authentic. Many locals are living in apartments near Antico and the town is so charming. Think women talking on balconies in Italian and you are immersed in this. We stayed in suite 2 and it had all the comforts as needed. Just be aware that suites #2 and suites #3 require you to walk up several steep steps. Next time, I would stay in suite #1 as it had a beautiful balcony right over the famous beach where the Red Bull cliff competition takes place. Our suite had beautiful windows opening up to the beach but no outdoor space to sit. Suite #3 has a large balcony but room is a bit smaller. What really makes this place special is Emio. His is simply amazing. Even before I booked, Emio was so helpful not only with the rooms but the area as a whole. He was ALWAYS available via whatsapp. No request was too large and always done promptly and with a smile. He helped making all the dinner reservations, changing reservations, getting us a TUK TUK and guides in other parts of Puglia. He is just a gem and a true ambassador not only of his property but to Puglia. Make sure you take Emio's recommendations for restaurants as he knows what he is talking about not only in Polignano but throughout Puglia. All of his suggestions were spot on and authentic. While this property is considered more of a B & B than a hotel, don't let this deter you from staying here. There are plenty of bars/restaurants within a one minute walk of the property. We usually stay at top of the line hotels, think Four Seasons, Belmond, Ritz, St. Regis properties and the service at this hotel was better than any of these deluxe properties. Emio is so genuine and treats you like family. We were very sad to leave and we stayed six nights Just stay and experience what the Puglia hospitality is really all about. Grazie Emio for everything.
