This is a very basic Premier Inn. We have stayed once before and it was ok, but this time, the bathroom was filthy with thick dust, dirt and hairs on the floor in the corners. It clearly hadn't been cleaned thoroughly in some time. Hand wash dispenser was also rusty. The room was also very cold on arrival, though the Reception team were great and brought us a heater within a couple of minutes. Can't fault the staff we met, but poor cleanliness is extremely off-putting.

Staff at reception were friendly, room was perfectly clean. Room would benefit from air con but a fan had been provided that was adequate. Breakfast was really good and staff again friendly.

Simple and efficient hotel. Clean but needs a little TLC. Although there is a renovation happening the disruption is limited between 10-6pm. The staff are friendly although strangely they insist on you making a reservation for dinner and the space isn’t busy. The soap dispenser in my room is rusty which was weird. But the room is big enough and fairly comfortable.

Really lovely helpful staff but it needs an upgrade . All the carpets are stained . No lift, so we struggled to get bags up stairs . Noisy fans rather than air conditioning . Lots of MacDonald’s rubbish around the front . Good breakfast but evening meal choice was very beige and all drinks were in cans . I guess the building work next door is part of improvements being made . Hope it sorts this out !

Stayed at many premier inns including this one before this latest visit. Have to say it was a little disappointing. I really don't underatand why they are giving preference to building a new annexe rather than concentrating first on updating existing rooms. This has to be the worst room experience we have had at premier inn. Table lamp not working, matress on bed in need of replacement, sheet on bed not big enough, lid on bin in bathroom did not close down. Also at breakfast on the first morning the milk at the tea/cofee machine appeared to be off because we had white lumps floating about on top of the tea.

Staff were all fab as all the premier inn I've stayed at nothing wrong with people who work there Room same as normal bit dated But it's the new restaurant they look nice it's just the menu is shocking nothing decent on it my company use premier inn i have to have the meal deal that they pay for and I normal pay a bit extra for the upgrades there's no meat on the menu so no mix grill But there are a few premier inn have done this conversation with a small restaurant in the hotels because beefeater has closed but they seriously need to look at the menu it's shocking I've used shocking instead of what I wanted to put

This is a reasonably priced hotel in an uninspiring location, with good parking, quiet and reasonable rooms and decent food (dinner and breakfast deal was good value and breakfast in particular was good). Staff were friendly and helpful. On the negative side, the standard wifi is very slow, the rooms could be described as basic (no tissues, limited storage, seating, no telephone to reception). Most annoyingly the hotel is hidden away in a dip in Polegate Services. The image on the website gives the impression that it will be easily identified but on arriving at the satnav location it cannot be seen. Some better directions would be appreciated

The service was excellent from start to finish. It was only an overnight stay but, as I have breathing problems and this venue does not have a lift, I needed to ensure I had a ground floor room. I spoke to Barry W on the phone and he helped to accommodate me. He was also on duty at reception on the day of my arrival and was again helpful friendly and welcoming. My room was spotlessly clean, with all instructions needed on hand to ensure I had everything I needed. I didn't have an evening meal but the all-you-can-eat full English breakfast was delicious. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and helpful. All in all, I had a graleat stay here. Thank you Barry and all Premier Inn staff

We have stayed here before as its an ideal central location for visiting the coastal area. In fairness the hotel is undergoing refurbishment and the general ambience is of a building site outside The room itself was up to the usual standard. Clean, comfortable with a nice powerful shower and bath. Wifi was hit and miss but ok for casual use. Parking was free once you logged on. The restaurant was also a work in progress. Scruffy carpet, very few for dinner and annoying music. Very limited menu but in fairness the food was ok, usual chain fare. Breakfast was a little livelier and again no complaints about the standard of the food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall if you just want a decent room for the night it's ok. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon. Again in respect of the restaurant wait until the refurbishment is over.
