Hotel Guru

This family run hotel was a great find for relaxing a few days after our trek. It is easy walking distance to the lakeside but far enough away that you don't hear the nightclubs when you want to sleep at night. The beds are comfortable and the room is well designed. There are many thoughtful touches: the table attached to the wall by the door let's you have luggage underneath, the fridge is for you to use and not crammed full of mini bar stuff, there is even a beer mug provided. The full hot breakfast has eggs, chicken sausage, potatoes, toast, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee, we were plenty well fed. You can choose to sit out in the garden area for breakfast if you like. The owner and his family were very friendly and helpful with the owner speaking really good English.

On arrival Guru warmly greeted us .The room was exceptionally good and clean Bed so comfortable ,Good shower with good hot water .Kettle and fridge in our room with water provided .Views of the mountains. A beautiful garden area to sit and chill .Breakfast very good .We felt so welcome at this family hotel .Guru and his son Isis spoke to us every day and answered any questions we had I would recommend travellers to go and stay at the Guru hotel .We would return Thank you Guru and your family for making our stay memorable I would award you more stars if we could

We finished the Annapurna Circuit Trek and wanted to relax for some days so we decided to go to the Hotel Guru Pokhara. It’s a very nice hotel, the rooms are very clean, the area is very quiet, the food (we got breakfast) was very good, and the service amazing as well. The manager helped us book our bus to Kathmandu, they have laundry service which is also very good and even offers for a trekking agency. Overall 10/10 for this hotel, we will come back here if we’re ever in Pokhara again. Thank you Guru!

It is a really perfect place to spend a good time in Pokhara. After 10 days in mountain we take an amazing shower and sleep around 10 hours. Everything is a really clean and modern,with all facilities in your hand. Also, they help us in all our arrangement to make the best in the city. The owner, Guri, ask us about what we need ,to ensure our confortability. We will come again in our nwxt time in Pokhara and we recommend it.

Very helpful and friendly owner made our stay a positive experience. Special effort was made to book a jeep and accommodation with a tour package for the next step of our journey. The facilities were clean and the hotel is in a handy location close to the lake.
