The hotel is situated on a small strip of beach, and my room looked out at this beautiful view. The bed was comfortable, and the room was okay. The door locking mechanism took some getting used to. Staff are friendly, but it feels they do not have any idea about service. I waited 45 minutes to get signed in, although I was the only customer at that time. The man at reception kept running around and telling me to sit and wait. The food at the restaurant is very, very expensive, and there are much cheaper and better restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has huge potential, but staff need hospitality training urgently to realise this! The hotel was okay for an overnight, and near the airport.

Where shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The pool is nice, but there could be more sunbeds. Be aware that you are on the eastern side, so when u arrive in August or September, it's very windy and may get chilly. While in November, you will be happy to have the breeze. Snorkelling: Yes, you can snorkel, and you will see fish. But don't expect reef-like on the Maledives for sure. Food: ONE OF A KIND. If you are looking for endless buffets and a big choice just to look at, this won't be your cup of tea. The food was just amazing. Very individualized menu, a big variety. We didn't eat twice the same. The breakfast menu was outstanding and so was the coffee (which usually always sucks in hotels). Nevertheless, you have to say that if you wanna dishes outside the included menu or wines, they are quite expensive (even for Europeans). The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point. Watery, not really strong etc. Foodservice: A very big thanks to the service team. you made our experience stunning, also the way you took care of my parents and everything around my mom's birthday. An exceptional stay at the resort, with 5 star treatment by all of the hotel staff. All of the staff that we came into contact with went out of their way to provide true Mauritian hospitality at its best! A highly recommended resort for couples and families. The rooms were well-maintained with a clear sea view and a view of the plunge pool. The quality of food, upkeep of the restaurants and all public spaces were immaculate! Many exciting water activities that were complementary with our stay as well as various themes provided at dinner time to keep guests entertained. There are not many comments about this hotel, so I will introduce it to you very seriously. We booked the Nirvana room type. This room type is only for adults. It is the farthest area on the side of the hotel. Breakfast is also a separate restaurant with a separate swimming pool. There are few people, quiet and beautiful scenery. This is why I chose Le Méridien this time. . The main course of the breakfast restaurant is à la carte, and the taste is very good. The main reason is that the scenery by the sea is particularly beautiful. The biggest advantage is that there are few people and quietness. It is really suitable for lying down. The room is slender, and there is a small swimming pool on the back balcony that has never been used. The room should have been refurbished, and you can see traces of refurbishment, not exquisite. The hotel environment and service are not bad. There are many free items in the seaside boat house. We took a glass bottom boat and went snorkeling offshore. The hotel's dinner buffet was really not good, and it didn't meet the Chinese appetite. I didn't dare to try others. In the next few days, we drove 2 hours back and forth to eat Chinese food outside. Whether it was our daily breakfast service, ensuring our comfort throughout the day, or even arranging an incredibly romantic proposal setup, she attended to every detail with remarkable diligence and warmth. Her dedication and care made her not just a wonderful hostess but a cherished part of our experience. We rate her an emphatic 10+/10. Equally remarkable was Kailash. With his innate knack for arranging romantic breakfasts and dinners in our room, his charismatic presence as he drove us around the resort in his buggy, and his assertiveness that ensured all our needs were met, he was instrumental in making our holiday complete. His personable demeanor is a true credit to the hotel. Our appreciation extends to the room service team as well. Koomar, Veenaye, Joanne, Tarvesh, Nitesh, and Sanjeev all contributed to facilitating a seamless and unforgettable experience. Their collective attention to detail, promptness, and friendly demeanor were remarkable. However, the standout personality and the heart of the Constance Belle Mare Plage was Kris. You will find him on the beach, armed with an unbeatable selection of cocktail recommendations. His mixology skills are top-notch, and his engaging conversations coupled with a fantastic sense of humor made our beach days exceptionally memorable. Kris was not only an employee of the hotel but became a friend who enriched our stay. In summary, our experience at the Constance Belle Mare Plage was truly magical, fueled by the unwavering dedication of its staff, the beauty of its surroundings, and the exceptional level of service that made us feel like royalty. Typical Mauritian complex hotel very well arranged and charming which offers many activities and well located to shine in the North of Mauritius. Everything is available to ensure that your stay goes perfectly (assistance, activities, visits, taxi, etc.) Several restaurants available on site (buffet restaurant and restaurants highlighting local gastronomy) included in the price for half board and all in. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and varied and also highlights local cuisine. The staff is attentive and very helpful. For information, ask to book restaurants to be able to taste the different local cuisines (Indian, Mauritian and Chinese).

Really nice hotel with a kids club (9:00-16:00) right at the beach and opposite the bar which was a plus. We liked that it is small (50 rooms), staff was nice, atmosphere pleasant. Food at the buffet was good for a 3 star hotel, at the restaurant on site (open three nights ) food was fantastic and even more authentic.

For the first stop of the honeymoon trip in Mauritius, I chose a relatively quiet and close to the south shore. When choosing a hotel, I always think that the expensive hotel is the best when I choose the hotel. When I moved to the east bank during the second half of the trip, It was only after the hotel knew that there would be no harm without comparison! The local cuisine of wool ball is not delicious. The honeymoon meal was upgraded to an open-air French meal by the sea. This may be the biggest slot in the experience. The dishes did not like it and it caused me a fever. The hairball traffic is really expensive. When you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, the driver has a fixed price. It thinks that it feels pitted, an hour's drive, 2200 rupees. If you don't plan to make a hotel, people who go out every day will still rent a car online. It's only 500 yuan a day. If you plan your trip, you must book a day trip from the Internet in advance. There may be no places when you set the ball. In order to save time, live in the south shore of the dolphins seven-colored earthen bird park. For the ball, driving time is the biggest benefit.

Villa Narmada is a lovely, homely place to visit. It's definitely home away from home. Friendly staff, always willing to go an extra mile to make you comfortable. The vibrant manager, the nice gentleman, fondly known as small man make your stay in that villa memorable. An intelligent cleaning lady, by the name of Corine, who speaks English very well, made my stay at Villa Narmada enjoyable, she always helpful and very knowledgeable with the street food and all. I was transported by Max, he took me around interesting places, very reasonable and understanding. He speaks good English, which was a bonus. He doesn't only take you to where you are going, he shares with you the information about places along the way. His number is +230 5768 3909 for those who will be going to Grand Baie. The breakfast was ordinary breakfast, nothing to write home about. Breakfast doesn't need to be expensive to be nice. Basic food like oats and milk can be such a nice and healthy breakfast. There are lots of fruits in Mauritius, tourists will love to have pineapple, mango or banana for breakfast. I must however knowledge that, they gave me some after I asked if I can't get a fruit for breakfast. So they are very accommodative. The towels are a bit old, even though they are changed everyday, and they are clean and smell nice, it's hard to know if they are white, cream white, beige or fawn.

Free parking and gate security are in place like all hotels in Maodao. We were just in time for the hurricane. We couldn't go to sea in rainy days. The hotel also had a lot of entertainment facilities. Table tennis, football, sand, volleyball, and pool. The WIFI signal in the room is very weak, only the balcony signal is very strong. I wonder if the facility was affected by the hurricane. The beach is downstairs, but the WIFI signal is very strong. There are many schools of fish not far from snorkeling, and basic water sports facilities are free of charge. The staff is very friendly, the environment in the yard is beautiful and quiet, it is much better than the salt selection we stayed behind, it is worth recommending ~
